The past week was weird, David and I talked about everything and he told me why he was getting mad and everything. We decided that if he had questions or wants to know he would ask and he wouldn't get mad at me for those things.

"Tamara, what is going on?" David asks when I come into his office.

"We were supposed to talk a few days ago but things got in the way, do you have time?"

"Sure, sit down." He says closing his laptop.

"Why is it that you get mad at me so quickly?" I asks when I sat down.

"Because when your mom and I get married, you'll be my oldest daughter living here. I know Terra will become my oldest daughter but she doesn't live here, and I never got a bond with her and I did with you."

"So that doesn't explain why you're always mad at me."

"It just that it's hard for me to accept the fact that you had a sugar daddy and that it was one of my closest friends."

"So you get mad at me?"

"I don't know how to cope with it. I never had a daughter, I was always working when my wife was home with the boys, I never had a stable relationship with one of my kids until my wife passed away, and I failed again with you, I am sorry for that."

"Our relationship was good until you found out about Luke. That's the only thing that changed. So, why is it you have trouble accepting it?"

"Because I don't want people to think you're my sugar baby."

"Why would they think that?"

"I don't know, I'm just scared people will think that."

"They won't you're marrying my mom."

"This is just all new for me."

"Then don't get mad at me, if you got questions just ask. And before you ask again, no I didn't have sex with Luke."

"How about you and Stephan?"

"I did not have sex with him either."

"Not what I meant."

"Just friends for now."

"So you see you two back together?"

"I think so, it's just hard knowing he doesn't trust me."

"He trust you. He had a rough childhood. Give him a change."

"I am." I say standing up. He looks at me with a questioning look.

"I've got work in 30 minutes, I got to go."

"Goodluck." He says opening his laptop again. I walk away and to the kitchen. I grab a bottle of water out of the fridge and walk to the hallway.
