Porsche watched as Pete brought drinks over to awaiting customers. It had been roughly a month since he had disappeared with Vegas and he hadn't spoken a word about it since.

Porsche was worried about him, he was on the verge of having a panic attack that night and hadn't confided in Porsche. He tried to distract himself with making another drink when he turned back to the bar to see a familiar face staring back at him.

"You're here." Porsche said, a grin forming on his face.
"Did you miss me?" replied Kinn with a playful smirk.
"How could I miss you when you come here every other night." Porsche chucked under his breath as he poured the man a brandy and handed it to him. "You remember my drink?" Kinn said raising an eyebrow. "Don't flatter yourself. You always order the same thing anyways." Porsche replied rolling his eyes at the man's grin.

After Porsche served a few other customers he returned to Kinn who faced him with a relaxed smile. "Do you do parties here?" he queried Porsche who rested his hands on the counter-top. "We have never done one before. It's a pretty small bar you know." Kinn nodded "Are you open to doing one?" Porsche thought about the question for a few seconds before shrugging his shoulders with an agreeing nod.

"Well it's my older brothers birthday soon and I wanted to hold his party here. I'll pay triple what you usually make in a day to rent out the bar."

Porsche took a minute to consider the offer, but didn't need long to come to a decision with terms like that. "You had me at triple." Porsche said with a smirk. "Great. His birthday is three days from now, do you think you can be ready for then." the man asked. "No problem." Porsche replied, pouring himself a whisky. "Cheers." They clinked glasses and sealed the agreement.

The day of the party, Porsche had closed the bar and he and Pete were finishing setting up the speakers and lights around the room.

Pete grabbed a drink as he watched a guy in a red button-up walk into the bar and towards Porsche with a flirty smile. This must be 'Kinn' Pete thought to himself. Porsche had spoken about him a few times and mentioned that he was the party's patron.

Although Porsche had never said anything about liking Kinn, Pete could see the spark between the men as he observed them talk. He rolled his eyes and finished the rest of his drink in one gulp.

He began making his way out of the room swiftly, trying to avoid his own thoughts but stopped when he heard his friend call out his name. Porsche beckoned Pete towards them so (much to Pete's dismay) he abliged by making his way across the room to the two men.

Apon arrival, Porsche introduced the men to each other and they engaged in basic small talk.

Everything was going well, Kinn seemed like a pretty decent guy and Pete could definitely see the chemistry between him and Porsche but was still partially distracted with other thoughts.

After a little while, Porsche made a comment about changing out of his uniform and into party clothes before the event started and recommended the same to Pete.

This was Pete's chance to escape the conversation. After using this excuse, he said goodbye to the men and quickly left for his home.

A few hours later, he arrived back at the bar with a sigh. He had decided at home that he was going to party, get wasted and avoid his problems tonight. So with that thought, he opened the door and stepped inside the building.

As soon as he entered, the strong smell of cigarette smoke filled his nostrils. Normally there was a 'no indoor smoking' policy but apparently that didn't apply today. The loud music boomed through the supplementary speakers he had helped to install earlier that day and his eyes were flooded with a violent stream of vibrant lights of every colour imaginable.

He sat down at the bar as his eyes glided across the room. It was filled to the brim with people, many more than he had expected. His eyes landed on the large table in the centre of the bar where Porsche was sat beside Kinn. Next to Kinn was a man in a shiny gold jacket and large sunglasses despite it being almost 10 o'clock at night. He must be 'Tankhun' Kinn's older brother who Porsche had mentioned the party was for.

Porsche noticed Pete ordering a drink and invited him to the table. Porsche introduced Pete to the other people at the table as he seated his friend beside him.

To his surprise, Pete got on really well with Tankhun and was actually having fun. Do much fun he had lost track of time but he didn't care he was just happy to have a distraction from his... Problems.

It had been a few hours and Pete was definitely at least little if not really drunk. He excused himself from the table and made his way to the dance floor.

The loud music mixed with all the bright lights and his drunken state was so intense that nothing else could enter his mind.

As he swayed to the music, his eyes shut from the euphoric feelings within him, stimulated by his surroundings. The atmosphere made him feel completely relaxed for the first time since before he had started working at that bar over two years ago.

He wanted let it all go and forget everything.

Sorry for the really late update and kinda boring chapter. A lot has been going on in my life recently so I haven't been able to write as much but hopefully the next chapter will come out reasonably soon.
