As Alessandro glanced at the hickey on Lily's neck, he wondered if she had eaten something that caused an allergic reaction while he was away. Alternatively, he considered the possibility that Tony's mark had become itchy and Lily had accidentally aggravated it, or perhaps she had been bitten by an insect or mosquito. He decided to inquire about the mark in the morning, but for now, he kissed Lily on the cheek and headed downstairs to his office.

As soon as Alessandro sat down at his desk and examined the papers in front of him, he sensed someone had been in his office. Being an observant person, he knew exactly how he had arranged his papers, but now they appeared to have been shifted. Although they were still neatly placed in the middle of the desk, they seemed to be slightly more towards the left corner of his computer, whereas he had left them aligned with the Apple symbol on his PC.

Not only that, but some of the papers were not aligned with the others, providing further evidence that someone had tampered with his belongings. Another indication was the black pen and pen holder, which had been knocked over, possibly accidentally, by the person meddling with his things.

When they collected the pens to put them back in the holder, they also picked up the black pen that had originally been placed next to the holder.

Alessandro opened the side drawers and discovered that his belongings were not in the same positions as he had left them. However, as he had important business matters to attend to at the moment, he decided to postpone his investigation of the intruder until later. He was confident that the intruder had not found anything valuable, as he never kept important documents on his desk. After all, he wasn't that foolish.

He pressed a button under his chair, and two tiles slid open, revealing a laptop and some files. Alessandro pulled out the MacBook and pressed the button again, causing the tiles to slide closed. He switched on the MacBook and put on his glasses, as his vision was not sharp when it came to reading.

The MacBook contained files on his entire family's mafia and his business information. If someone got hold of this MacBook, they had the potential to destroy him and everything his family had worked for.

One of the most important things on the MacBook was the collection of files on big names in the business world, as well as some individuals involved in the underworld business. Alessandro had invested a significant amount of money and time in gathering information on the people he wanted to control.

He was determined to accomplish something his late father had never been able to do. His father had wanted the "DeLucas" to be the only ones in control at the top of the food chain. His father was a power-hungry individual who enjoyed manipulating people and seeing them under his control.

Apparently, Alessandro had inherited his father's greed. With the information on the MacBook, he aimed to exert his influence over those in power and control them. He didn't have a specific reason for desiring such power, but as they say, power is greedy. Once you get a taste of it, you want the whole damn thing. And that was true for Alessandro.

He was one of the most respected Capos in the crime organizations, and those who engaged in legal business with him knew that he was not someone to be underestimated. He had a knack for negotiating and winning contracts without having to resort to using his mafia connections.

However, Alessandro still yearned for more power. Although the United States would heed the president, Alessandro desired to occupy a position of influence behind the president, controlling a multitude of affairs. He wanted his decisions to wield significant impact over the entirety of the United States.
