Chapter 5 Battle under the Night Sky

"The DEM?!" Natsuro said in shock, "How?!"

"No time to explain!" Kyouhei said to the crew, "Assess the damage of the blast!"

"Problem sir!" One of the crew said in panic, "Our territory is damaged!."

"Well then," Kyouhei said as he rubbed his chin then hugged himself, "The enemy must be so prepared and powerful. How exciting!"

"Sir!" The crew yelled at him, "This is not the time to be masochistic!"

"Forget that! Strengthen the territory again!" One of the male crew yelled as he typed some commands, "Incoming blast!"

After she said that, the whole ship then shook horribly as the laser beam hit the Fraxinus' territory followed by the sound of an explosion . All except Kyouhei screamed in shock as a holographic screen showing the word alert as the sound of alarm can be heard from the system.

"Sir!" This time the female crew made a report, "Our territory's durability has been reduced to 60%! We can't hold on much longer!"

Instead of giving orders, Kyouhei was still hugging himself while smiling and mumbling nonsensical stuff.

"No use! Kyohei san is in his masochist mode!" One of the crew yelled, "Call Kotori san now! It's urgent!"

"Roger!" The other crew said while she typed some commands on the keyboard, "Getting her online.... Now!"

As she finished typing, a holographic screen showing a red pig tailed girl wearing a red suit appeared.

"What is it now?!" Kotori said in an annoyed tone, "Did the Vice Commander do anything funny again?"

"Kotori, Kyouhei san is getting insane and we are under attack by a DEM Airship," Natsuro said to her, "Not to mention the shield isn't gonna last long!"

"If you're calling me to say that, my advice is..." Kotori said calmly, "Don't doubt Kyouhei san, trust in him."

As the holographic screen disappeared, Kyouhei then stood up and spoke in a calm manner despite the chaotic situation.

"Focus the territory on ...." Kyouhei said some coordinates and the size of the territory.

Upon hearing the commands, Natsuro, Neri, Nard and the crew was shocked due to the size of the territory he demanded.

"K-Kannazuki-san!" One of the crew rebutted, "The territory is too small to protect us!"

"No time for that! Do it now! Another blast is coming!" One of the crew said as she typed some commands.

Meanwhile, the cannon of the DEM Airship then lit up, started charging its beam and shot it at the Fraxinus. As the beam closed in, a territory then appeared and blocked the beam from hitting the ship.

"S-sir!" One of the crew said to Kyouhei, "The territory held up!"

"Shield durability is still 100%!" The other crew added.

"We can do thi- What?!" One of the crew said in shock, "We have a situation!"

"What is it?" Natsuro asked the crew.

"Look at this!" The crew said as a holographic screen of the ship's radar appeared in the middle of the room, showing a lot of red dots approaching the island and the Fraxinus.

"What the hell is that?!" Nard asked, "Zoom in on the entities!"

"Zooming in now." The crew said as he typed some commands and a zoomed in video showed a horde of flying triangle headed robots.

"It's them again!" Neri said to them, "They just have to come now."

"Kannazuki-san, you guys take care of the Fraxinus, we'll handle the robots!" Natsuro said as he turned around, "Let's go! Shogun, Shadow!"
