"Man Rich I dont know what to do. It's like I'm going crazy" I tell Rich over facetime
"Jay, she just real big in her feelings. I feel maybe she'll come around but for now you gotta do you man. She definitely a one strike your out typa girl" He says
"I understand , just gonna keep doing me & living life. I gotta deal with the consequences of it all." I say
" Yeah honestly thats all you can do. Just have patience... if its real it'll come back." He says
Me & Rich finish up our conversation & then go our separate ways. I miss Chanel so much. She was my BestFriend & my girl all into one. Nothing can replace her at all. Until she makes her mind up about me , everything will just have to stay how it is.
I call her , just to hear her cute raspy voice. I pray she picks up the phone.
"Hello" She says
" Hey Nu , how things been? " I ask nervously
" Things have been well love , I definitely cannot complain. How about you?"
" I'm good , life is a movie per usual. I'm missing you though. I need you back in my life , just as my BestFriend again." I say
"Jade its going to take a little time but I'll see what we can work out." She said
"Anything is enough for me. When you've thought about it enough just talk to me. I'll be waiting" I say before hanging up and letting it be
I lay in bed and just think about everything thats been going on & watch scarface. Rainy days definitely make everything hit harder.
Miracle P.O.V
"Bye Ms.Linda , be safe in this storm." I tell my co-worker as I walk out
I'm a dental assistant so I get off around 6ish , but today its storming like we gotta build the ark for noah! I get in the car & rush but drive home slowly.
"Siri , call Lovey" I say telling siri to call Nu
" Hiii Mi" She says in the bed
" What you doing lovey" I ask
" Nothing , hungry. Missing you."
" Same, I miss you more! Wish the storm wasn't that bad so I could come over"
" I can come to you." She says
"No you cant! Its horrible out here & you live on the opposite side"I say pulling up into my house
"I can't sleep mi! Why you cant let me come?"
" Chanel , you are all the way on the other side of town. Its storming. What are you not understanding?"
"Holdon my momma calling me" she say as I put my stuff down & hangs up
I run upstairs & run my shower water. Its so cold in this house but thats how I like it. I love the way my feet feel on the cold tiles.
I plug my phone into my speaker, turning on my favorite playlist. The feeling of being clean & feeling brings me peace. After my shower I brush my teeth & lotion up. I throw my clothes on & walk to my room.
" FUCK" I yell as I see Chanel sitting on my bed
" whats wrong?" She asks
" You scared the fuck outta me girl. Thats what. Why are you here? I literally told you stay at home" I say yelling
" Why are you yelling at me and mad that I wanted to see you? I'll leave its fine" she says getting up with her face scrunched up
" Baby im sorry dont go please " I say grabbing her before she could dot the door
" Why you acting shitty then?" She ask
" I just always want you to be safe and driving from the other side of town in a storm isnt safe! But im sorry for seeming like im complaining. You know I enjoy your company " I say
"I understand & im sorry. I just miss you since you been busy" She says wrapping her arms around my neck
" I miss you more. comon lets talk, how everything been? " I ask putting her in the bed
" Well Jade has been tryna come back around. Just as a friend but I know she waiting on me to forgive her. Its like I can't though because one thing is enough to make me wanna stay away. School & work been good though , just wanna go on vaycay now" She says laying on my back while i scroll on instagram
" Well if you feel yall could be good friends , then go for it. If you need to hear her out do that then. Everybody fucks up I guess. I'm glad work & school good though , ion want you falling behind in none of those areas." I say
" No jealousy, attitude, anger , nothing? I think you really might be the one for me. " she says
" I just feel it's unnecessary because you know we not serious but I know where I stand with you. Nobody replacing me " I say laughing
"Nobody replacing you? Cocky maybe? " she says wrapping her legs around me
"Just saying crazy girl. What you wanna watch?" I ask turning the tv on
" I wanna watch why did we get married. Mike and Shelia do it for me everytime" She say
" Girl really? Out of everything? Whatever you say tho" I say turning it on and laying back in the bed
It was cold in the house in general , my fluffy sheets kept me warm though. The rain started back heavy again and Chanel was wrapped around me like these were our last days. Felt like peace... felt like home.
"I wanna be like this with you forever." She says
" Do you really? Or are you gonna start to hate me when I become difficult to deal with?" I ask
" I'm here through everything. I wanna go through everything with you. Its just right now im indecisive about alot" she says sitting up
" Indecisive about?" I ask
" Everything. Things with Jade happened & now my guard is back up & I dont know if I would like to be in anything else right now." She explains
" Everything dont have to move so fast Nu. We can continue to chill and not be anything too serious. No rush I promise " I say
" Your the sweetest girl i've ever met" she says kissing my face all over
Life going so great , I just know something bad is on the way.
