(& the sheriff investigates the suspicious activity..

(warning ; near the end, nothing graphic, but just mentions of stabbing and basically dying !)

There had been a murder in the Empires and the sheriff was not pleased. He wanted to figure out who could do this, who would dare lay a hand on GeminiTay and take her out.. He had to investigate everyone. Of course, the last night Gem was last seen alive was Friday 4:00PM and her state of death was seen Saturday, 4PM. Saturday and Sunday, everyone grieved over Gem, leaving gifts and kind words.. Every. Single. Person. The Sheriff knew one of them was a guilty murderer.

On Monday, he knew his job, having to find out who dare kill Princess Gem. He knew it couldn't be a villager, only another Emperor who had some neutral/negative interaction with her. He woke up from bed, getting ready, skipping breakfast, and dashing out the door, ready to find this murderer. 

Of course, he hadn't hoped someone would kill Gem, but he did hope it was someone who was a lawbreaker.. one who already committed a crime before obviously murdering Gem! The first person being Joel of Stratos.

"JOEL OPEN UP!!" The Sheriff banged on the door angrily. He heard a mumble and stood at the door crossing his arms, tapping his foot, and waiting for Joel. "What, Jimmy?" The God sighed, rubbing his eye. He had just woken up and looked tired, not even dressed in his proper fitting. 

"Where were you?" Jimmy asked with no context. Joel raised an eyebrow, "Umm.. In my bed.. sleeping?" Joel said in a confused manner, unaware of what the man meant. Jimmy sighed go closer to Joel.

"Where were YOU the night of GeminiTay's MURDER." Jimmy spoke harshly. Joel's eyebrows knitted together. "I was watching Hermes..? My child? Sausage couldn't watch him, he had to get an order in and needed to chop wood." His arms crossed. He had no hesitation in his words, the sheriff sadly knew this was truthful of him. Jimmy sighed, "Oh is this the alibi you've been working on for 2 days? You've done Gem dirty before and almost killed her bees! Of course you gave them back, but you were obviously hungry for murder and revenge so- so you killed her instead!" Jimmy spoke with such confidence. 

Joel looked at him like he had 2 heads and rolled his eyes, "No Jimmy, if I was her murderer I would've killed her bees as well. I don't care about killing humans, I only care about killing animals, get your facts right." Joel said, shutting Jimmy out and Jimmy's mouth wide opened, shocked.

Jimmy sighed and popped a list of names out of his inventory, crossing Joel's out in shame. He thought for a moment, wondering who next.. Of course, Sausage! He wouldn't want Hermes to watch him murder Gem! Yes Sausage and Gem have an alliance but maybe he got scammed or something and wasn't happy.. The Sheriff took out his rockets and flew to the Sanctuary, hoping Gem's murderer would confess..

2 days had passed with non-stop investigating. It was currently Wednesday morning and he felt useless. The last 2 on his list he would visit, putting all clues together and hoping to avenge Gem's murder. Today, he would go slow, getting ready and not skipping breakfast today. He made pancakes, unable to stop thinking of theories of who would've killed her. Gem was kind, funny, and honestly, beautiful. He was one of his best alliance, never to make fun of him and respecting the law. 

"Whatcha thinking about?" Jimmy jumped, instantly turning around. "Oh my void- you mortified me, don't do that, Scott!" He spoke, his heart racing. Scott only laughed, coming closer and wrapping his arms around him, kissing him. In all honesty, Jimmy hasn't talked to Scott since Gem's murder.. He's been too stuck on this and he hadn't been focusing on his dear husband.
