Angie's POV
I go into what I assume is the kitchen with Wolfie. and spook a little when I see Cathy (Parr) with a baby. A year old at max.
"Oh, it's just you." I say. I crouch to get a better look at the baby and gasp. "Is that Mea?" Mea smiles at the nickname.
"Yep!" She says proudly. "Mea? Why'd you call her Mea?"
"It's easier. There are two Mary's in this house. And she seems to like it." I say.
"Ah. I like it!" She says.
"Aww. She's so cute." I say excitedly looking at the baby wiggling in her mother's arms. "I miss it when my siblings were that little." Cathy looks at me as I play with Mea.
"Siblings?" She asks.
"Yeah. A brother and a sister." I say. Another way too many years were lost in history.
"Younger or older?" She asks
"Both younger." I say. Normally, I'd question why she was questioning me, but I enjoy talking about my other family.
"Morning, baby." Mum says.
"Couldn't sleep either, huh?" I ask.
"Nope." She says walking over and putting her arm around me. She suddenly notices Mea. "Oh... hello little one. You must be the Mary everyone's been talking about." Mea smiles at her.
"What was the nightmare about this time, Kat?" Cathy asks.
"I- I was thinking about when Anne and Lina reunited." She says sadly, letting silence fill the room briefly. "And when the lady's in waiting helped them find their kids."
"Oh, well that would traumatize anyone. My godmother is a VERY passionate person when it comes to hate, religion, and holding on to grudges." Parr says. Kit nods.
"What happened?" I ask.
"Well, I can go get the others so we can tell you everything if you want." Kath says. She walks up and everyone comes down within the next few minutes.
"Kitty told us that you want to know what it was like to wake up here, is that true?" Lina asks. I nod. "You sure?" I nod.
"I want to know what happened. I need to understand what it was like, so I can understand the last part of my dreams." I say.
"It all started when I woke up." She says.
Note; that the next seven chapters will be about the queen's experiences waking up 500 years later and finding the kids.
