Blood and Roses (Karma Akabane)

Chapter 24-Years Later

- MAMA! D/n (Daughter Name) took Mr. Marshmallow! S/n screamed. (Son name)

D/n has my hair and Karma's eyes while S/n has Karma's hair and my eyes. I groaned and sat down in my bed as I looked at both my children.

- D/n give him his plushie back, I simply said.

- But, S/n stole my favorite book! my daughter added.

I signed and looked at them.

- Then, why don't you exchange your things back?

They both looked at each other and nodded. Then, they ran outside of Karma and I's bedroom to get back to playing. I look at the time, it's only 6 o'clock. Karma's already gone as he has work to do. Even though it's Saturday, he still has to work as he is now one of the politicians. We are lucky enough to be able to have the day with him tomorrow. I get up and wear one of my favorite dresses. Once I am done, I wear makeup and put on my heels one. Then, I get downstairs. I prepare some breakfast for my kids and I and we sit down to eat. When we finish, I wash the plates.

Ding Dong

I smile as the older kid goes to get the door.

- Nagisa! D/n screamed as she jumped on Nagisa to give him a hug.

- What about me? Did you miss me? Kayano asked from behind the blue haired boy.

- Kayano! S/n screamed as he hugged the green haired girl.

Then, the four look at me.

- So, I have to go. I have a small mission to do before coming back. I should be back for lunch time. You can do anything, I told them, smiling.

My kids didn't have to be told twice as they each took their hands and pulled them toward the living room to watch T.V and play.

- Aren't you forgetting something? I asked.

The two kids look at me and they run to me. I kneel down and they each give me a kiss on my cheeks.

- Bye, mom! They both said, as I smiled and kissed both their foreheads.

- Have fun, my little monsters.

They ran back to the blue and green haired friends sitting on the couch. I walked out of the house to the Head Quarters of my company. As soon as I set my feet in, I walked to my office on the last floor.

- Hi Harnold! I gave him a small wave as he was talking with someone from the food department.

He waved back and got back into the conversation.

I got inside the big room. It's just like the one in England. I had my two secret rooms hidden by the wall. I sat down on my desk and worked for a few hours. When I was finally finished with all the paperwork, I got up and walked to my secret assassin room. Harnold sent me a message that morning about a really good offer. I needed to kill a politician in exchange for three thousand dollars.

I get in my suit, adjust my mask on my face and make sure I have all my weapons. When I am ready, I get out by a secret exit in the room and run to the politician's house. He was sitting in his living room, watching T.V while eating a chocolate bar. I smirked as I saw him getting up and walking toward the kitchen for something else to eat. I forced the window open and got inside. Slowly, on my tip-toes to make sure I don't catch his attention. I placed myself just behind the couch, waiting for him to come back. It only took a few seconds before he walked back in the small room, a juice in his hands.

I wait until he is sitting before I get up. I grab his hair and push his head back so I am just above him.

His eyes widened in fear as he looked at my face. My eyes are bloody red. I pull my knife out and slash his neck open, some blood gets on my hand and some gets on my face. He shocks on the liquid and I watch his eyes as life gets drained out of them. When I am sure he is no longer living, I pull the two roses out and brush them in his blood. When they are both bloody enough, I place them just beside him. I looked at them for a few seconds before I walked back out by the window.
