Brothers Broken

After she left Dean quickly changed, he sat on the bed sighing running his hands over his face. This was the last thing he needed, he didn't want Roman hurt, but he knew he would because of Cassie! He decided to play along and pretend everything was fine for Roman's sake, and hopefully things didn't work out and Roman would come to his senses and dump her crazy ass! He took a deep breath and went downstairs, to find everyone talking in the living room. The rest of the evening Dean struggled to act normal, Cassie made it extremely difficult by making excuses to be near him and touch him, which made him even more uncomfortable! He became more openly loving towards Seth, to prove to Cassie he didn't want her. He almost screwed up at dinner when Cassie sat between him and Roman, and continuously throughout the meal touched Dean's leg under the table. Finally the night was over, and Cassie hugged everyone goodbye, Dean didn't want anyone thinking something was wrong, so he hugged her too. Once everyone had left they locked up and put the kids to bed, before they began cleaning up. Seth watched Dean put the dishes into the dishwasher, he knew something was bugging Dean, he had been acting different since he had his shower.

"Dean?"

"Yeah?" Dean said as they finished tidying up.

"I know something's bugging you, it has all night!" Seth said looking at him.

"I'm fine Seth, I promise!" Dean replied not wanting anyone to know about Cassie.

"Dean, I know you and I know something's going on! So, just tell me please, I want to help you babe!" Seth said worried. "Is it Cassie?"

"Yeah, I'm just in shock still that she's back in my life after not seeing her in years! No big deal, I'm already over it!" Dean lied smiling.

"You sure that's all?"

"Yep! Come on, let's go to bed." Dean said taking Seth's hand.

**Six Months Later**:

Time past and Dean's hopes of Roman breaking up with Cassie didn't come true. Instead of breaking up, they fell in love...Roman fell in love, Cassie didn't care about him. Roman and Cassie were inseperable, she became a part of their world, turning Dean's life into a waking nightmare! Everyone loved her, she had them all fooled, acting innocent and like a loving, devoted girlfriend to Roman when the others were around. When it was just Dean and her, she continued to try and seduce him. He hated her with every fiber of his being, and wanted to break them up, Roman deserved so much better than her! Problem was, how could he break them up, without anyone thinking it was because he still wanted her? Then there was the fact that Roman would end up hating him, and Dean didn't want to lose his brother!

Just when Dean thought his life couldn't get more screwed up, one night six months later Roman gathered everyone at his house for a special dinner. Of course Cassie started coming onto Dean the minute they walked through the door, and he had to force himself to stay for Roman's sake. After dinner as everyone sat in the living room, Roman stood getting everyone's attention. He then asked Cassie to stand too, Dean's heart suddenly stopped!

"Cassie, I know we've only known each other a short time, but I'm so in love with you! You're everything I've ever wanted! Will you do me the honour of spending the rest of your life with me...will you marry me?" Roman asked, as he got down on one knee and took out a small box.
