Chapter 10

Kellins POV

Over the past two weeks Vic and i have been getting closer and more comfortable with each other. The day i got back to Michigan i saw Vic and i told him everything about my dad and how i took the pills and how i cut too deep. There were many breakdowns in-between many sentences but we just held each other and i felt really safe.

I also feel like I've fallen for Vic.. i don't know I've just never had these feelings before and he can manage to brighten my darkest days and even when i just need to lay in bed all day because the voices are too bad he and my mum take shifts to cuddle with me and be there. I really don't know what id do without them both.

I love my mum because she hasn't freaked out over the whole cutting thing, she hasn't sent me to the 'nut house', she hasn't sent me to therapy, she's just trying to get my life sorted with her and Cara there as constants in my life and my friendship with Vic is helping me inside my head and i honestly feel like my life is good and that I'm starting to feel truly happy. Oh and the added bonus of living next door to Vic. Like literally, I'm in the next house and i cant be happier or feel safer.

Yesterday night Vic texted me to meet him in the park at lunchtime so I'm on my way there now, i hope its nothing serious. When i asked he refused to tell me so I'm slightly panicking. Im wandering along in my own day dream i fail to notice Vics been calling my name for a good 2 minutes.

"KELLIN QUINN FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC STOP DAY DREAMING" i jerk my head up to see him standing about 2 feet in front of me looking slightly amused and slightly pissed off.
"o-oh s-sorry Vic, i, um, uh... hi" i smile a goofy smile at the end and hope he doesn't stay mad. He returns it with his own slightly lopsided smile of his, the one i love.

"ahaha hey Kells" he says as he kisses my cheek. Hmm i liked that. wait, what? he kissed my cheek? "So urh, i just kinda wanted to ask you something. Like i really love your company and having you so close to me in my life and i wouldn't want it any other way, so would you maybe possibly want to be my boyfriend?" OMG did he just? omg omg omg he's so freaking cute and i've been wishing i had the balls to ask but i thought he only saw me as a best friend. this is perfect. wait kellin get your crap together and answer the poor boy -

"Y-yea i'd love to Vic" i smile a huge toothy smile at him. He then leans in and we have our first kiss, and let me tell you this, i'm so glad there will be more because he is a fabulous kisser. His lips are soft but controlling, they make me crave after more and melt into him. Needing oxygen, we pull away and stare into each others eyes, our foreheads connected.

We get back to Vics house and decide its a great idea to make some brownies. The recipe said it should make 20 brownies but by the time Vic had finished covering me with the majority of the ingredients there was only enough to make 8. We then did cute couple stuff such as making out on his bedroom floor, why not the bed you ask? oh we couldn't control ourselves to make it to the bed. We then decided it'd be a nice idea to make dinner for his family for when they get back from work and when mike and tony come back here. We agree on a simple pasta bolognese with some broccoli and give them some of our brownies with whipped cream on for desert. After that was made, we watched movies on the sofa and cuddled until everyone came home. We all tucked in to our meals and everyone loved it!

Deciding i should go home now, Vic walks me to the door and kisses me goodbye, i give him a super tight hug. "Call me if you need me tonight alright baby?" i nod and peck his lips one last time for tonight and make my way over to my house, him watching until i get to my door. We wave to each other then i disappear inside to find mum and Cara playing some monopoly.

"Hey sweetie, how was dinner?" i jump over to her on the floor and sit next to her and put my arms around her waist.
"Guess what?" i ask excitedly.
"What?"
"Vic is now officially my boyfriend!!" I say so excitedly.
"Thats great sweetie! awww i knew you guys were going to be something. i'm so happy for you love" she kisses my cheek and hugs me back. We all end up playing monopoly and just enjoy the rest of our evening. That is until I'm laying i bed and my phone starts to ring. I pick it up without looking to see who it is because i know its Vic.
