No one knows how it started thousands of years ago but it has never ceased to die down. This feud between the two clans has become very well known in the world. Mortals and monsters wonders if this will ever end with peace.....or end in dust.
One clan lives in the mountains in a large home that resembles a ski resort. The leader is a dark blue hedgehog with blue green eyes and pale muzzle. His beloved wife is a stunning white with blue strips hedgehog with stunning golden eyes and a light tan muzzle. They have two sons their eldest Silver and the youngest Sonic. Silver was to be married to a ally's daughter Amy in a short couple of months and resume the leader role for his father. Sonic on the other hand had refused every eligible lady and even man because he refuses to marry at his age. His parents try to explain that he is 118 now and must pick. Silver took his younger brothers side and Sonic didn't have to choose. Sonic got bored one day and left during the night to check out the mortal world despite his parents protest.
Meanwhile on the other side of the mountains lived the other clan who lives in a large home deep in the forest. The leader of that clan was a black and teal hedgehog with glowing green eyes. His wife was a red hedgehog with stunning ruby red eyes. Their only son Shadow was to become the next leader once his training was done. He didn't have to wed anyone but he had set his eyes for his fathers Capitan of the guard's son. He was a young red male echidna with stunning purple and blue mixed eyes and is top of his fathers guards. Knuckles had recently turned 118 and was ready to take his fathers place yet was denied once more. Yet deep down Knuckles wanted to venture out just once into the mortal world before becoming the captain. He would ask his father who would denied letting him leave. So he decided to sneak out.
Little do they know how dangerous the mortal world really is.
