MERLIN'S P.O.V

I walked out of my room slowly before Gaius had a chance to wake me up himself. "here you go Merlin, your almost late for Arthur" he said handing me a small piece of bread. I nodded and took the bread then went to go get Arthur's food.

Once I got to the kitchen I was handed Arthur's food. "are you alright Merlin? You look like you haven't had a nights rest" said the women in a thick accent. "I'm fine, thanks" I said putting a small smile on my face. she only nodded in response, walking away to help cook.

As I walk away I start to think about what she said. 'was it really that notable?'

My brains seems to not Be able to let me have a fear clean day.

Before I new it, I was opening Arthur's curtains and saying 'rise and shine'. I was surprised that he actually got out of bed without complaining-that Much-. "wow" I said surprised "your up" "well, we are going to Mieldor today" he said getting out of bed to get changed.

"We are?" I asked him, trying to hide my excitement and fear, but failing miserably. "yes we are, are you alright? Does the magic kingdom scare you?" He asked, saying the last part as if he was talking to a baby. "not at all" I said smiling while handing him his clothes. "good" he said taking his clothes and going behind his screen thing.

"Go ready the horses Merlin, I can handle getting dressed myself" Arthur said from behind the screen. "are you sure?" I said trying to hold on my laughter from the thought of Arthur getting dressed without my help. "yes I'm sure Merlin" he says and I could hear him Rollin his eyes. "okay" I said backing out of the room to the stables.

Whilst walking to the stables, I bumped into Eric. "sorry sire" he said helping me up. I shot him a small glare. "titles" I said getting up, a look of recognition crises his face. "sorry si- I mean Merlin" "its alright, you won't have to call me that for much longer" "what do you mean?" "We're going to Mieldor today"

"We are?" He asked happily I nodded. "That's great! Now you won't have to keep you're secrets secret" "ya, well I have to go get the horses ready, see you soon then" I said walking off to the horses. "see you Merlin!" Was the last thing I heard before I saw the horses.

It has been a while since I finished the horses, I even finished mine before anyone came out. the first one was Arthur.
"What took you so long?" I asked annoyed. I wanted to get back home before Ellios does anymore damage. "Well I'm sorry Merlin," he says sarcastically "I had some Important stuff to do" "you had trouble putting on your clothes didn't you" I said getting on my horse beside Arthur. "no" Arthur said, "uh huh" I said nodding my head.

Before I knew it all the Knights were here and ready and we were riding out to the forest.

My Knights were riding beside me and we were talking about what Mieldor was like and what I would have to do to get MY throne back. "well, to get the throne back you must defeat Ellios in a battle." Ben said in a low whisper,making sure no one could her us. "right, okay, I can do that." I said nodding.

while we were riding a thought occurred to me.

"What about my mother?" I asked, they looked at me sadly, "sire" Chase said slowly "what about my mother" I said again, but this time in a growl. "She,she has passed away sire, when we went to Ealdor to get her, we found her dead on the ground. we said we would inform you about it, but it must have slipped our minds" Eric said slowly and quietly as if I would break if said differently.

"So,shes dead?" I asked not wanting to believe it, "sadly, I'm sorry sire" Chase said I waved them off saying it's alright then making my horse go beside Arthur's. "are you alright Merlin? You look like you're about to cry" Arthur asked with concern in his voice. "ya,ya fine" I said not looking at him, "alright then, in that case, we make camp over there" he said making his voice louder at the end.

Everyone got of their horses with ease and made there way to the small clearing we would be using as a camp. "Merlin, go make us some food. we need it" Arthur said walking towards his Knights and talking.

I rolled my eyes then went on to collect some fire wood. for some reason it was harder to find some wood then it usually was, so it took me longer then usual. Once I got back the first thing I heard was "did you get lost Merlin?" Arthur you prat. "ah yes cause all the trees look the same" I said back before going to the pot of un-cooked water. I made the fire and started to chop up the rabbit we had found during the ride. this was my least favourite part, it's bad enough we have to kill it, now I have to cut it up into little cubes? Gross.

Once the rabbit was all cut up I placed it into the pot, along with some other ingredients that I would rather not share with the group of Knights. plus it's good fun watching them eat whatever it was without knowing what it was.

Once the food was ready I got all the bowls out and started giving everyone some food. I started with Arthur. "oi! This isn't enough food" he said angrily "well we don't want you fatter now do we?" I asked giving Lancelot some food then moving on to everyone else. my plan was to finish giving everyone there food then giving what was left to Arthur so I wouldn't die before I got my kingdom back.

I finished giving everyone there food then went to Arthur and gave him what was left. he didn't even say thanks. rude. But he did look into the pot. "aren't you hungry Merlin?" He asked, I shook my head then went to go wash the pot. Trying my best to ignore the hungry that was tugging at my stomach.

ARTHUR P.O.V

As soon as Merlin left for the lake I went after him. I knew for a fact that he was hungry, but he was so selfless that he didn't want to say it. typical. once I reached the lake I say down next to Merlin and handed him my food. "No thanks" he said pushing the food away. I pushed it back. "take it Merlin" I said "no" he said back pushing it back to me. "come on Merlin! Take it!" I said pushing it at his face again. this time he took it.

Then threw it all over me. "I said no" he said standing up. I stood up after him. "oh your so dead!" I yelled running after him, luckily for him, Lancelot came down to the lake. Merlin hide behind Lancelot. "save me sir knight" he yelled making Lancelot laugh. while they were distracted talking to each other I jumped at Merlin, throwing him over my shoulder. "nooo!" He squealed. it was adorable to be honest. "to the lake!" I said marching down to the lake aware of the laughing Lancelot behind us.

"No! Not the lake!"merlin yelled hitting my back with his fists and my chest with his feet. "yes the lake! I yelled back. "ready?" I asked him taking him off of my shoulders and holding him in a position where I can throw him from. "no!" He yelled, and with that I threw him in the lake. it took him a few seconds before he got to the surface, once he made it to the shore he walked back to the camp site. but I could hear the mumbled 'clot-pole' that came from his mouth.
