Captain's Broken Shards

Information on The Twins and Marissa's secret conversation with Bucky

The Avengers aircraft landed at  the Avengers tower in New York where Barton was taken by Dr. Cho to have his wounds tended to while Maria walked up to Stark. "Lab's all set up, boss." Agent Hill told him. 

"Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler." Tony told her as he pointed to Steve. 

"What's the word on Strucker?" Steve asked her. 

"NATO's got him." She answered. Steve, Marissa, and Agent Hill started walking over to the elevator while sharing information. 

"The two enhanced?" He asked. 

"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special." Maria replied as she shown him.

"Their abilities?" He asked her. 

"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." She explained. Steve looked at her funny, as she rephrased the statement so he could understand. "He's fast and she's weird."

"Well, they're going to show up again." Steve told her. 

"Agreed. File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts." She told him as they got into the elevator. 

"Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" He asked. 

"We're not at war, Captain." She reminded him. 

"They are." He told her. Marissa and Steve rode up the elevator Steve to somewhere in the tower and Marissa to her room. 

As soon as Marissa got to her room, she went to the bathroom, locking it as she walked over to the mirror starting to fog it up. She looked at the door then at the mirror as she wrote out. 

'Hey how are you holding up over there?' She waited as her writing faded and another writing appeared on her mirror. 

'I'm holding up. How was the mission?' She smiled a bit as she lowered her head and wrote back. 

'We found Loki's Scepter and caught Baron Strucker, but we also found two enhanced people.' She sighed as she sat down on the counter. Ever since her encounter with Bucky, she's been finding a way to contact him without others getting suspicious of her or any spys tracking the two down that's when she found out more about her powers of glass including mirror write contact. 

'Since when could Strucker enhance other humans?' Bucky wrote to her confused as she is. 

'I don't know but Tony and Bruce is looking into it before the farewell party Tony wanted to do' She leaned back towards the mirror as Bucky was writing. 

'Alright I hope it all gets figured out.' 

'I do too. I wish you were here right now..' 

'I do too but I'll see you soon.' 

'Alright I gotta go. Talk to you soon?' 

'Yes of course.' She smiled as watched the fog clear and stepped out of her bathroom getting onto her bed.
