Nipsey pov
It was crazy being from the ghetto some of the things I've witnessed really hurt me and as a man I don't cry. But some of what I seen made me want too. A lot of gun violence, old friends you use to kick it with that you never will chill with again cuz the strung out on drugs, loosing hope, at a very young age early twenties just lost.
Single mothers working hard trying not to miss a payment killing themselves everyday to feed they children trying to stay strong when the devil stay busy. This my neighborhood and the shit I see. Dope fens walking around some women even pregnant looking for the next fix killing they unborn for a high they continue to chase, Every other day somebody getting shot over nothing, yellow tape everywhere streets blocked the community suffering because the truth is the white man don't care about the hood, they only care about profiting from it that's why they put liquor stores on every corner and businesses and shopping malls in the ghetto that low income people can't even afford to shop at. It's bullshit foreal
A lot of things i pay attention too that's why I'm the voice for my people.
I'm tired of seeing my people sufferingI was chilling in my hood watching as the bullshit unfold.
He was seventeen mama wasn't never home, didn't know his daddy and his stomach was rumbling. He use to be a A student had high hopes and dreams to become a basketball player with the skills he had everyone in the hood would tell him, he was like a young Iverson even had a similar fashion style like him. Scouts wanted him they told him he had a bright future until his mother turned to drugs and tricking and lost their house, car, and savings. her alcoholic boyfriend wasn't any better he use to beat on him. Now look at him selling drugs trying to make it in the world without help I mean can you blame him? If he had another way he wouldn't be out there
Just a Yung nigga tryna make it."Wasuup nip," the young boy walked up to him with his gun in his jeans and his pants sagging stashing his money away.
"Wasup cuz, I see u out here working you betta chill out you know you can come to my gym and shoot hoop whenever u like.
"Yeah shooting hoop ain't keeping my stomach from rumbling I'm good on that shit right now"
The look in his eyes was a mixture of pain and regret.
"Look I believe in you little nigga take this money, I don't want to see your little ass out here no more cuz"
He looked down at his hand at the stack of cash his eyelids raised
"I appreciate you nipsey but I have to find my own way," he handed the money back being prideful he dabbed nipsey hand and walked towards his next customer.
He didn't know that customer was a rival gang leader that would end his life a few weeks later.
Can't save everybody all you can do is try. Hussle set there as the pain was to heavy
