Hyunjin puffed out a breath of relief, his gaze encapsulated by a hazy fog. He probably shouldn't have ran before telling Felix anything he must think of him as an uptight asshole who didn't care about his secretary.
He ran a hand through his hair. The glass of wine in his hand tilted at an awkward angle. One wrong move and it would spill on the nice polished wooden floor. It had already been an hour since he left Felix alone in the hall. He had too, his heart felt like it'd have shattered, combusted if he stayed near the younger male any longer.15 minutes- Hyunjin reasoned with himself if Felix didn't arrive to their room by then he'd go look for him. He couldn't make it obvious he felt something for him. The jitters in his body beg to differ. He felt uneasy the more he thought about Felix not coming back.
15 minutes had passed, the glass of pure red wine finished long ago now discarded on a nearby table. The restlessness in Hyunjin increased. There was no way Felix was purposely trying to avoid him as it. He was to nice for that. Too pure.
Even though his body felt heavy from guilt and the airplane lag of the prior night he forced himself to get up and get Felix. He'll make an excuse as to why he left so suddenly. An important phone call? That seemed reasonable enough.
He opened the room door snd ventured out heading straight to the buffet hall. The hall was almost empty. Breakfast was over and only a few people here and there were sitting on the chairs eating whatever was left. Nothing more than a few scrapes of food.
Hyunjin's nose scrunched in distaste if they were rich enough to book an expensive hotel then they were rich enough to buy a decent meal not eat practical leftovers. If it was him he'd never let Felix out of all people eat hotel leftovers. They tasted bland and dull. Felix couldn't eat anything like that he gave more of a bright and tasteful vibe.
It struck him Felix wasn't at the table he was at previously. No sign of a used cup of coffee, no wrinkles on the table sheet no nothing. Everything was pressed and neat and tidy. The chairs were in their right places, and even the table sheet was ironed and laid their sophisticatedly. Weird. So Felix must've left the table a while ago for the servers to have cleaned it. Maybe he checked out and went exploring? No he was to busy trying to do his job. If he left the hall a while ago why didn't he come back? Where exactly was lee Yongbok Felix.
Its fine. Felix is an adult he'd be able to take care of himself just fine. With that in mind he made his way to the reception. If Felix had gone out of the hotel he'd need to submit his room key first. The receptionist would tell him if she has a key left by him if it is he's out and if it isn't he's inside the hotel, probably exploring it.
His steps fastened unintentionally. His feet moving faster than his mind. It didn't take him long to recognize the reception area with the same receptionist sitting there.
"Did Felix submit his room key here??"
The receptionist rose her eyebrows clearly not knowing who Felix was."The guy with greyish hair that was with me yesterday"
"Oh yes him no sorry sir no key has been submitted"
Hyunjin didn't bother replying and retreated back fishing his phone out of his pocket. Guess he had to call him now.
Ring..
Ring....
Ring....
Direct to voicemail. Why wasn't Felix picking up his phone? Panic and worry swarmed Hyunjin's heart. Did something happen to him? What if he needed Hyunjin to be there?
He dialed the younger's number again. And again and again. Four times and no response. Something was wrong. So so wrong. Felix would've picked up by now.
