At the beginning I thought working for the Baroness was going to be the best thing happening to me. Well, I clearly thought wrong. Now we sat every Thursday in this stupid restaurant, eating the exclusivist food I had ever seen in my entire life.

It surely tastet rich but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
In addition there was her unforgettable mean behavior. The first time we visited the restaurant, she made one of the waiters cry so hard, she quit the same day. And if that wasn't enough, she didn't even pay for the food. The thing that surprised me was, that she got away with it. But it was the Baroness so I shouldn't be too surprised about her powers.

It was my luck, that I knew her aggressive spots and could talk my way around them. If that wouldn't be the case, I undoubtedly wouldn't sit here with the genius herself that day. Even though I admired her commanding behavior, she didn't need to do that.

The Baroness gazed at me, holding up her tea cup and said absolutely nothing. She just gave me one of her famous intimidating looks.

"Did I do something wrong?" I questioned with an innocent look, while I returned her expression without any fear laying on my face.

"It's that Cruella person. I need to know who she is to ruin her. She's unacceptable." Her voice turned dull and filled with rage.

A meager grin lit up around my lips, before vanishing the second she noticed it. "Of course." I agreed with my boss, who now placed her cup of unfinished tea on the table.

"But I have to say, she is good. She knows how to immediately upset me and steal my light." The genius added with a glint of excitement in her eyes. I guessed, she was happy to finally have a competent nemesis. She loved fighting for her status and to destroy everyone, who came across her way.

At the exact moment, when I wanted to answer her, the door was being opened and the most beautiful woman walked into the stupidest restaurant ever. My focus went rapidly to her. Only her. I completely forgot about the Baroness sitting opposite of me.

My throat quickly dried out and I laid my hand on my neck, clearing my throat. I didn't know what that mysterious woman did to me but I definitely did not like it.

"Estella? Is everything alright?" My boss asked, who had followed my gaze to that stranger.

I adjusted my glasses with both my hands and my attention went back to her. "Oh. Yes, yes. Everything's fine." I stuttered, looking at the new woman again.

The Baroness frowned, not stopping to observe me. "I need you today, Estella. We need to figure out a way to stop that hideous Cruella person from crushing my events."

"Yes, of course." I mumbled, with my attention on that woman. I didn't know who she was and what that gorgeous human was doing in a stupid restaurant like this, but she seemed oddly amazing. She wandered her eyes through the menu, before looking up at me. She smiled softly.

My gaze rapidly went back to my boss, still with my attention drawn to the other woman. The unnamed person was still observing me. I could feel that on my skin, which burned like fire.

"You're not yourself today, Estella. You will have to take a small break from working but then you have to get back to it immediately." She commanded and sipped her tea.

I just nodded, glimpsing at the woman, who ordered and went to the toilet. Without her company, I got back to focus on the Baroness in front of me. "I'm sorry. It was a long night yesterday, working on your signature piece. I rarely get any sleep anymore." Faking a yawn I stood up.

"Am I allowed to use the restroom to refresh myself?"

"Just go." She waved a hand over and immediately talked to a waiter, in a not so friendly tone.

Rapidly, I made my way over to the toilet, where the woman vanished minutes ago. She stood at a bathroom sink, washing her hands. Our eyes met through the mirror. A blanket of goosebumps crawled over my skin and let me feel uncomfortable.

"So what's your deal?" I asked in a harsh way. Obviously, I didn't want her to know how she made me feel.

"Excuse me?" She replied perplexed, still holding the eye contact through the glass. Then, she turned to face me.

"Without a doubt you want something from me. You know the Baroness and want me to get you into her company, right? That's it." I exclaimed bitterly. She was sweet for my behavior, which confused me even more.

"Sorry to let you down, but I don't know the woman you're with. You just drew my attention to you. You're stunning." The stranger smiled lightly and dried her wet hands with a towel. "If you'd excuse me, I would get back to my table and wait for you to also keep looking at me." A petite chuckle followed her sentence and with that she started to bring her leg in front of the other one.

"I'm Estella. And you are?" I didn't want her to go so fast, especially not because she startled me with her answer, so I just kept talking, hoping she would continue the conversation. And she did.

"You can call me Y/N. Estella is such an elegant name. Perfect to fit a striking woman like you are." I blushed but couldn't understand, why she was flirting with me right after she got to see me for the very first time.
Without me answering, she was gone.

I waited a few more seconds, before I had taken all in of what had just happened. A new situation I wasn't familiar with. Normally I was looked at, when someone wanted to have a chance with the Baroness and to get her attention. They always wanted me to talk nicely about them in front of her. But she just focused on me because of me. Sounded scary to me but I liked exactly that kind of stuff. Somehow she caused something inside of me, that wanted me to get to know her better. To talk with her about other topics than just designing or the Baroness.

"Estella!" I heard the intimidating voice of my boss screaming for me in her not so kind way. So I stopped myself from thinking about Y/N and stepped out the restroom, only to see another waiter cry.

"We're going. Without paying. Estella, come and don't make a fuss about it in the car again." She stormed out the building in her elegant way. Perplexed, I searched in my pocket for some money to leave but I only found 5 Bucks, which I could give them. One more look drifted to Y/N, before walking out the restaurant and getting in the car. I was quite glum, I had to leave the fabulous looking woman just because of my boss, but it didn't matter now.

I believed in second meetings.
