Caught

Grey POV

As I rolled around the hallways of this giant structure I found some guards on the lower and more public areas. Such as the lobby of the building and the toilets. I'm still surprised by how well I've been hiding from them.

But food seems to be an issue as I couldn't find any, I tried absorbing mana for quite some time now and I still haven't been able to create a core like what the books says, but at least I'm able to absorb some mana. I kept on rolling until I heard footsteps stomp loudly in front of me, and that's when the two women saw me they pointed at me and I immediately rolled to the side towards a vent.

Using the miniscule mana I had in my hand I punched the vent hatch and entered wherever that vent would lead me.

"Are you fucking kidding me" One of them exclaimed and before dropping down I raised my middle finger which contributed more to their rage towards me, I quickly entered the vent before they could catch up to me

But when I got there suddenly I was exhausted as I crawled as far as I could, but not for long it was all black.

Agrona POV

"He's capable of using what?!" I yelled at the two scythes who had just spotted Grey but let him through their grasps

"Even if it was miniscule we definitely felt it, it was mana" Viessa spoke up nervously whilst Seris just nodded carefully at that statement

"Get our maintenance team and tell them to search our vent system" I ordered and they nodded before rushing out

"I can't even use mana to catch him. I'm afraid I'll accidentally crush his body" I cursed as I looked out the window to be greeted by the calm night sky

"I really shouldn't have left him alone in that room, but oh well he's running out of food anyways" I thought as I slumped down my chair, my hand covering my face

The Next Day

"He got away again?" I asked ridiculously, and the four scythes in front of me had their heads looking down on the floor not being able to utter a single word

"When we find him, this stays between us and the maintenance team," I said seriously and they all nodded, before I let them out to continue searching for Grey

Grey POV

Alright shitting on the floor is fun and all, but I really should continue trying to search for some food. I rolled around the hallway and entered the kitchen only to find all the food are either at the top cabinet or a locked cabinet.

"Shit they're trying to starve me" I thought as I heard footsteps approach the kitchen door and I immediately hid under a stove praying that it wouldn't be used

"I swear that baby is more harder to deal than our students" A man said as I heard two other footsteps

"Did he really not touch the food there?" A woman asked and the mana just sighed

"He's not an actual baby, you know that right? He's a fucking reincarnate" The man exclaimed at the woman

"I know, but he must be desperate for foo..." The woman was about to say something but gasped

"Dear Gods please tell me he didn't pass out in the vent systems" She said and ran out of the kitchen room

"Fukcing hell, Seris get the maintenance team and tell them to check the entire vent systems" The man yelled and the all of them rushed out of the kitchen

Whoever they are, they know who I am, but I don't know if they can be trusted or not.

I rolled out of the stove only to be caught by the back of my collar by someone who raised me to meet her. My golden eyes met her dark eyes, the woman with purple hair had just caught me.
