It's been two days since I spoke to Porsche. Did I believe him? I wasn't yet convinced. I wanted to trust in his sudden change, that's for sure but it was not as simple, as it should be. Once again, we came across each other by accident, the exams were fast approaching and Vegas studied in the library most of the time, where I visited him often and saw Omega at another table. He was sitting with his nose stuck in the books, and I knew he was also preparing for the upcoming tests. He never approached us, never tried to force conversation, only smile if our eyes met. Maybe he truly changed?
I didn't want to disturb Vegas, so I started looking at others, especially Porsche and noticed something that couldn't disappear from my head. The man was clearly bullied. I didn't fully understand the situation as Porsche looked athletic and, from what Macau told me, he could fight, but here he only ignored the taunts that grew with every minute. People say that if you don't react to someone's behavior towards you, the person will get bored and let go, but those people didn't stop.
Especially the one they called Big, I could see how much fun he had pushing Porsche, taking his notes, or even pouring a drink over man's things if he had one in his hands. No one around was reacting, and I couldn't stop myself from clenching fists tighter and tighter, as looking at it made my guts twist inside. I didn't like Porsche, but that doesn't mean I wanted him to be treated this way.
"Vegas!" I said anxiously, seeing the group whispering something to each other, looking maliciously at Omega, who had just taken his belongings and headed for the exit.
Everyone followed him at once, and I got up, pulling Alpha by the arm.
"Kitten, one more chapter and we're going," he asked, without raising his eyes from the book.
"Vegas, we have to go, damn they're going to do something to him," I muttered, and without waiting any longer, I ran after them myself, seeing how their silhouettes disappeared next to stairs.
For a short second I thought I had lost them, but suddenly I heard a slap and fall to the ground. Afraid, I ran towards the noise, and my eyes saw Porsche lying on the ground, with a trickle of blood flowing from the corner of his tensed mouth. Books lay around him, while Big stood above, laughing to the hilt.
"Lie down, dog, where you belong. I will not be ignored by some shitty motherfucking Omega. Try to do it again and I'll fuck you, slut," he spat out, and colleagues around him clapped at his words.
"I've already told you you're not my type, let it go," Porsche muttered, and Big kicked him in the face.
The body hit the wall, sliding off it slowly, and I thought he had lost consciousness, but Omega coughed up few times, steadily returning to a sitting position as if nothing had happened.
"Do you think you have something to say here? You Omegas are just there to spread your legs in front of us. Nobody will ask you for your opinion, you know what? We should start today. A blowjob won't hurt anyone," I saw him starting to unfasten his pants and it made me shiver to the core.
"Leave him," the whole group turned towards me, not expecting anyone to disturb them.
"Pete, leave this place, please," Porsche whispered with difficulty, but I took a step forward.
"What did you say to me, Beta bitch?"
I wanted to repeat, gathering inside all the courage I had when I felt a warm hand on my back.
"My partner must have made himself clear. Leave him," the anger palpable in Vegas' voice had a blatant effect on everyone. Porsche huddled, hiding his face in shaky hands, and Big swallowed saliva loudly, taking one step back, then the second.
