*Ethan's POV*

When Jayden told us about his cousin living here in Boston, I was surprised. However, I was even more surprised when I saw the blonde beauty who opened the door to let us in.

Ellie.

The name certainly suit her. Everything about her is fascinating. Especially the light blue eyes that held so much like it's an open book. Beautiful is a rather boring word when it comes to her. She's perfect in my eyes, but everyone has a secret, whether big or small. And listening to her conversation with Jayden about not going home to visit her family, I can tell that she has a secret and she's still going through some sorting out in her life. But whatever it is, she's too beautiful to be sad.

It amazed me how amazing she is. Most women would fall at my feet knowing that the famous Ethan King is in their home. She didn't even seem affected by my mere presence. However, she offered us some food to eat- which was really delicious- and a place to rest. Now, she's given us her home as she went to school. What else could we possibly need?

I look around at my best friend, brothers and bodyguard who I trust with my life. "So, I'm hoping that we are safe here."

"Me too," replied Elliot.

"So, Jayden, I didn't know you had a cousin living here." I wanted to know everything about her.

He hesitated for a while and then began, "Ellie's been like my little sister. She moved here when she got into Harvard."

"What is she studying?" Daniel asked.

"Pediatrics," Jayden replied.

Wow. Impressive. She wants to be a doctor. Can she not surprise me any more? Everything about her is so refreshing. She's like a breath of fresh air.

I need to have her! The emotions that she's stirred in me for less than 24 hours are quite refreshing. No other woman has ever stirred these feelings in me before.

This woman will be the death of me.

I can just imagine her screaming my name as I thrust into her and claim her as-Damn it Ethan. Snap out of it.

I need her and I'm going to have her.

***

It was 6 in the evening when Ellie came home looking quite exhausted. She smiled, said goodnight and hurried to her room. Minutes later, she came out and sat next to Jayden. She leaned closer to him and wiped a tear. From where I was sitting, I could tell something was wrong. Jayden looked at her and asked what was wrong. At this moment, everyone's was looking at her curiously.

"Derek's wrong."

Derek. Who the fuck's Derek? This is the second time they're talking about him. I hope he's not some boyfriend that she has. And what did he do anyway? He better not mess around with her, or he'll have me to answer to. And I don't give empty threats. I make promises.

"What did he do? Is he still troubling you?" Jayden asked softly, but I could hear the anger in his voice. This Derek guy was messing around with Jayden's cousin whom he considered his little sister. And if Jayden decided to kick Derek's ass, I would certainly help.

Before she could reply, however, there was a rapid knock on the door and she tensed. What the fuck is going on?

I watched as Jayden stood up and looked at the door furiously. Daniel was already taking his gun from inside the coffee table's compartment. Jayden, after watching us for one last time, went to open the door.

"Hey. Get off me," a deep voice said suddenly.

Jayden came inside pulling a guy by his collar. "I thought I told you to stay away from my cousin. If you don't stay away from her, I'll be the one to take her to the station to file a report. I'm not kidding about this one second. Leave her alone." Jayden grabbed him tighter. "Do you understand?"

The guy looked at Ellie on the couch and at everyone else in the room. He gasped when he saw Daniel with a gun. That'll teach you.

He didn't hesitate this time around. "Okay. I swear, I'll never trouble her again. I swear."

I walked up to him and said, "Good. 'Cause this time around, you won't have her cousin alone to worry about. I promise, if you try anything, I'll find you and you'll be very sorry. Understood?"

He gulped. "Yes sir. I understand."

Daniel walked towards us and played around with the gun. "I haven't shot anyone in a very long time." He looked and me, asking for permission, and I smiled. "Boss, can I test the gun on him? This is a new gun, and I heard some very impressive qualities." He pointed the gun towards the guy, and he pleaded with his eyes to let him go.

I looked at him, and asked, "What's your name?"

He didn't hesitate. "Derek Sanchez."

"Okay Derek. Remember what I said? I don't give empty threats. Now go on."

He got up and ran from the living room and out of the apartment. We all burst out laughing after a while, except Ellie who looked frightened. Upon realizing the state she was in, we all stopped and went to occupy the couch.
