"Hey Finn, you got a second?" I say as I knock softly on the door to get his attention. Finn is focused on looking over some documents with Nate.

"Yeah, come on in, give me a moment" he says while still looking at the documents. "Tell Casey that I like the first part of the article but the overall message gets a bit vague towards the end and I need him to end it with something more substantial in order to make an impact."

Nate nods while gathering the documents "will do, I'll head over to him now so he can have it done by the end of the day" he looks over at me "hey Kay! Good to see you, how are you?" Out of the two Nate was always the nice one. Finn and Nate always seemed to be together even though no one really understood their dynamic since they are so wildly different. Nate was the life of the party, always smiling and chatting, eager to help while having a bit of a sarcastic side. While Finn was grumpy, self absorbed, stick up his b- ok, ok, maybe not exactly like that, but that's how I saw him at least. Dalia would probably describe him as the more structured responsible type, which he had to be in order to be the department lead so I'll give him that.

"I'm good, how are you?" I answer as Nate pulls out the chair for me and waves for me to sit down. "Charming as ever huh?" I say while sitting, "you know it" he answers and gives me a quick wink. Any other girl would have taken this as an indication of interest on his part but I knew better, so I waited, three, two, one...

"So is Dalia around?" He asked me. There it is, anytime he saw me he would light up and start scanning my surroundings in hopes of seeing Dalia. In his defense we were together most of the time so more times than not he did get a chance to see her.

I try to hide my laughter but I'm not too successful and I catch Finn's eyes on me, the first time they've been unglued from the documents since I stepped in. "No sorry Nate, Dalia is back home, need me to give her a message?"

"Oh, no don't worry but thanks!" He says, trying to keep his cheery demeanor but I sense the hint of disappointment in the corner of his smile. "I'll see you later Finn" he says and I look as he steps out the room and closes the door.

I look back towards Finn and he's looking at me, which startles me for a second, there is something about his gaze..

"So, what did you come to see me for?" He interrupts my train of thought with his usual cold expression. "I came in because I was wondering if the new voices scholarship requirements had come in yet. I know you're more connected with all that so I thought I would ask."

He writes something on his computer "there, sent you the information you should have it in your inbox" and just as he finishes I feel my phone vibrate and see the notification of the email.

"Thank you Finn" I say as I'm going to stand up. "So you're applying with Dalia I assume" this stops me and I stay seated. He's reclining a bit on his chair now, now that I look at him he looks really tired with a bit of dark circles. I used to have really bad dark circles from lack of sleep and stress but Dalia introduced me to a life saving eye cream and the magic of actually sleeping and I've been able to keep it under control. Except when finals rolls around then it's all bets off. I'm reminded of how Dalia said that we are more alike than I think but I dismiss this quickly.

"Yeah, we're planning on making a little mock documentary of a film crew filming a documentary" I say hearing myself get a bit excited. It's unavoidable whenever I talk about my upcoming projects.

"I like it, a bit of film-ception meets The office style" I look at him shocked because one, did he actually say he liked the idea, and two because he understood what I was going for immediately.

"Yeah, exactly..." I say smiling

"Well if you need any cruel but realistic feedback you know I'm always available" he says, reaching his arms out and smiling wide.
