-005- Temporary Farewell

Your POV
"Make sure you bid farewell to them, we don't know when we will come back here.."

You listened to your mother while you think about how you will leave in a few days.

How will your friends accept this? How will they react? Questions started to pile up in your mind.

"Sweetie, we're here," You snapped out of your thoughts and stared out of your window.

You saw the familiar blonde girl come out of the house door to greet you.

"Y/n-chan!" She ran up to you and hugged you.

"Hello Emma-chan!" You were excited to see her.

"Come on! Let's go play!" She held your wrist and dragged you into the house.

"Guys! Y/n-chan has arrived!" Emma announced loudly as she walked into Mikey's room.

There sat Mikey, Baji and Shinichiro. They were fighting over the board game.

Baji was accusing Mikey for cheating in the game.

"Y/n-chan!" Mikey's eyes sparkled when he laid eyes on you.

He stood up and ran over to you to hug you but he almost tripped over when Emma pulled you away from him.

"Nooo Mikey go away! I wanna play with Y/n-chan!" She whined.

"No! I'm gonna play with Y/n-chan!"

"NO I AM!"

You just walked to Shinichiro and sat next to him while watch Emma and Mikey argue.

"What?!"

"HAH! YOU LANDED ON MY LAND NOW PAY UP"

"No you flipped the dice!"

"NO I DIDN'T NOW PAY UP!"

Baji laughed while Mikey sulked. He pulled out his 300 monopoly money and gave it to Baji.

Shinichiro sighed at their antics.

You and Emma are just listening to them while you both play tea party.

Shinichiro was forced to wear a princess crown while playing with the two boys. Emma keep bringing tea stuff to him and he is just suffering.

"Ni-chan! Can I marry Y/n-chan in the future?" Emma smiled innocently to him.

"I- You are NOT stealing my future wife!"

"HAHAHA YOU? GET WITH Y/N? DUDE YOU ALREADY GOT REJECTED TWICE BY THAT SHORT HAIR GIRL AT SCHOOL" Mikey laughed at him.

Mikey kept wheezing and that ticked Shinichiro off.

"This conversation is getting weird," you deadpanned.

You looked towards Emma's direction.

"Emma-chan."

"Yes?" She smiled at you, tilting her head a little. You thought that she looked adorable at that moment.

"I'm moving.." Your head faced the floor, you didn't want to face her. You didn't want to meet her eyes at all.

"..What?" She took a moment to realise what you just said.

"You're kidding right..?" Baji mumbled.

You looked up to see Emma's eyes full of tears. She grabbed your shoulder firmly but gentle.

"You are m-messing with us... right..?" Her mouth twitched into a frown.

You were about to cry. Her expression was full of pain.

"No.." Mikey stared at you while Shinichiro tried to calm himself down.

They wouldn't get to see you again and for who knows how long you will come back.

"I'm moving to Roppongi..."

You walked out of the house with your mother.

"Did you say goodbye to them?" Your mother asked.

You nodded.

"It's alright.. we can visit them anytime! Besides, we will move back here in a few years." She tried to cheer you up.

"Come on, let's go." You held her hand tight but not enough to hurt her. "I'll buy you some cookies and ice cream alright?"

"Take-chan, how come I don't see Kaku-chan anymore?" You asked Takemichi.

The young boy also asked himself that, why isn't Kakucho showing up at the playground anymore?

"I don't know.."

"Hmm.. maybe he is busy?" You pouted at the thought of not being able to bid farewell to him before you go.

"It's alright Y/n-chan, maybe we get to see him again next time when you come visit me!" He smiled brightly at you.

Such a sweet boy.

"Here, I got a gift for you!" He pulled out a a bracelet.

He gave you the black one while he put on the white one.

"I got us matching bracelets! We're now best friends for life!"

You giggled. Now you both won't forget each other no matter how far away the distance between the two of you.

After all, the hero duo won't ever fall apart.

Takemichi gave you one last hug before you get into the car.

"Bye! I will miss you!" He waved. You smiled sadly and waved back.

And just like that you left. You finally left.
