An Alpha Mate

Chapter 2: High School

AKI's POV
 
   First day of senior year. I know that some of the kids that attended South Falls High are very much excited but I'm not. That's because I don't have a mate yet. Most werewolves find their mates at the age of 16. I'm thinking that its because of my angel genes. My dad tells me differently. He said that maybe my mate isn't from the packs surrounding us.

    "Aki, hey wait up." My best friend Jordan Carter called on to me. She's from the Blue Fang Pack. Daughter of one of the best enforcers  from the said pack.

   "Hey Jordan.How's summer with the grand parents?.Do you find your mate there?" I ask my best friend.She went to her grandmother's pack, the Yellow Stone Pack, to look for her mate.

   "Yes Aki!Oh my gosh! Can you believe it?He's so handsome and really tall oh and he's the packs gamma." She said excitedly.

    "Hmmm ..Good for you girl.I hope I find mine soon." I told her a little down.

     "He's going to pick me up latter after school so you'll meet him.You're gonna like him for me". She says.

     "He better be.The bell's gonna ring soon so we better get to class".

       We went to class after that and it's just the usual first day of school.The day passed by in a blur and its now time to meet Jordan's mate.

       " There he is. Hi baby". And she kiss him in front of me.

      "Arrgh. So much PDA". I said while laughing. "I thought you're going to introduce us?" I said when they pull away from each other.

     "Yeah sorry Aki. Ahm this is Evan Carmichael my mate and the gamma of the Yellow Stone pack. Evan this is my best friend Aki, the alphas sister of Blood Moon pack." She said introducing us.

    "Hi Aki. My mate says a lot about you." He said smiling while looking at her. I can say he loves her already.

    "I hope it's all good things."

     "Yes. It is. So shall we get going?." He said motioning to the cars.

      "Okay guys. I'll go ahead now. Can't be late because Brandon will send the pack enforcers to drag me home." I said while walking to my car and waving at them.

       "See yah tomorrow." They said together.

       I drive my car out the parking and into the pack house.

      "Hi brother. Where's dad?" I ask my brother Brandon, the alpha.

      "He's in the council now. Probably talking about the Black Blood Pack wanting to claim the land east of the pack. They're saying their pack lands are getting smaller for their increase in populations. But we all knows he's just really greedy, he just wants bigger lands to satisfy his power hunger." He said getting angry at the alpha of the said pack.

      "But we can't do something about that because he has the biggest and strongest pack here in the states. So why not just give him what he wants? I heard he's  also a cold hearted monster." I said shivering a little when I remember what my father said about him.

      "He really is. He's killing rogues just for fun and killing other packs that's no match for him and killing even the women and kids." He's wolf is now getting visible so I calm him down.

     "Enough of this talk. I'm gonna go upstairs to my room and take a rest. Still have school tomorrow. Goodnight brother."

      "Goodnight princess."

      I make my way upstairs and to my room. Did my homework and my nightly rituals then go to sleep. Hoping that the next day I can finally found my mate.
