I groan, picking up my watch and checking the time. 3:46 a.m. "I can't sleep. Come with me downstairs, please." I stare at her as she waits near the door. Forcing myself out of bed, I head downstairs with her. "You know Ginny, just because you cant sleep doesn't mean that I shouldn't either." I yawn, walking into the living room. Before Ginny could respond, we turn the corner and see Hedwig, Harry's owl. As well as all his belongings. Ginny calls for Molly while I allow Hedwig out of her cage; letting her sit on my shoulder.
"Harry? Did someone say Harry?" Ron calls from upstairs. I walk over to Ginny with Hedwig on my shoulder still. "He's back Ron!" I smile, turning the shoulder that Hedwig was on to them, giving them a better view. Footsteps are heard before Hermione pops her head over the railing. "Is that an owl I heard?" Their indirect chatter continues before I decide to put Hedwig back in her cage. Instead I'm met with Harry Potter. Immediately, I run and hug him. "Harry! Its been forever. How are you? Are you hurt? Where have you been?" I speak, inspecting his face for injuries. He laughs at my concern and smiles. "I'm fine n/n! Relax." I nod before stepping back and allowing Ginny to hug him, alone with everyone else. I have to say, Ginny and Harry shared a look, there was a slight twinkle in his eyes when he hugged her. They were absolutely adorable together.

"When'd you get here?" Harry asks Hermione and I. "Two days." Hermione answers. He nods and turns to me. "About a week ago. I had been staying at the Malfoy Manor before." I reply honestly. Out of all my friends, Draco and I had an unusually close bond. And I don't mean just some friends, I mean we sleep in the same bed, share clothes I stay over at his house, I cry to him about my problems, I'd listen to his. You know things along those lines. Although, I hadn't been at the Manor on my own free will. It was as per my fathers request. One of his meetings. Unfortunately, I was born into this life. I got my mark when I was 11, Ive been doing all his biding for as long as I can remember. Did I enjoy hurting others for his benefit? Never. But what had to be done had to be done.
"Seriously n/n. I don't understand what you insist on hanging around that git." Harry scolds me, freeing me from my loop of thoughts. Ron and Hermione agree. "His family and mine are close Harry. I cant control it." I say, keeping my tone steady after the word family left my mouth. Thats one thing I never had. "You have us Y/n!" Mione exclaims. I laugh before smiling. "Mum lost it last week." Ron changes the subject. "She says Ginny has no business going back to Hogwarts. It's to dangerous." Harry scoffs at Molly's opinion.
"Harry. Molly's right y'know. I bet Miones parents know about the bad things happening." I chime in, playing around with my wand. Ron continues explaining the opinions of his mother while I zone out. The sound of laughter breaks me out of my trance. I smile at the sight of my friends happy. "I'm going to get some fresh air guys." I speak, clearing my throat. They give me a look saying they want to know more, but don't say anything. I head outside and walk away from the Burrow. There was nothing wrong with me, I just felt a tad bit out of place since I had missed the joke.
I look into the horizon, sighing as I did, a tear escaping my eyes. Is it normal to feel this mentally drained? I want to confront my father. Tell him that he's the worst person I've ever met. Letting out a shaky breath, I pull down my sleeves and head back inside; suppressing all my festering thoughts.
"N/n!" Hermione smiles, she was holding a glass of water in her hand, standing in the kitchen. "We were going to visit the twins Joke shop tomorrow. Want to come?" "Sure. That would be lovely." I respond quietly. She finishes her water before heading upstairs. I assume she went to sleep. I should have followed her, but instead I sat on the stairs. Knees to my chest. A million thoughts raced through my head as I stared straight ahead.
"You should go to bed." Harry's voice breaks my concentration. "Cant sleep." I mutter. He sits down next to me, instinctively, I lay my head on his shoulder. "What's wrong with you n/n? I haven't been back long and I sense that you aren't your usual happy self." I take a deep breathe in, trying not to let my emotions get the best of me. "Im scared Harry. What if we don't make it after all of this? What if you don't make it...?" I trail off. "You'll make it. Me on the other hand, I'm not so sure. If I don't make it, I want you to take care of everyone for me. And I don't want you worrying about me. Life needs to go on Y/n. With or without me."

"Step up! Step up! We've got fainting Fancies!" The twins yell as I look around their shop. My eye is caught by the 'Love Potions' they have. Apparently Ginny and Hermione shared the same idea as me since we both picked on up. "Hello ladies." Fred and George say at the same time. "Love potions eh. We can guarantee you they work. But from what we're hearing sis, you're doing just fine on your own." I turn to Ginny and raise an intrigued eyebrow. She shrugs defensively before walking away. I laugh before catching up with Ron, Harry, and Mione who were about to take a stroll outside.
"How do they do it?" Mione exclaims, referring to Fred and George who were running a striving business. I laugh a bit at her enthusiasm as we make our way to an abandoned store down the road. I notice Ron peaking through a broken wall and pop my head over his shoulder. Looking through the wall I see none other than the Draco Malfoy. Ron and Harry whisper something to each other as I look around the abandoned shop, admiring anything that remained.
"You guys are weird!" I whisper shout as they walk down the alley Draco disappeared into. They roll their eyes before walking past me. Walking behind them, we stay hidden until everyone enters the shop. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best view, so Harry came up with the elaborate idea to climb on the roof. This idea worked until Greyback almost spotted us and ended up closing the curtains. Sharing a look, we all climbed down and went back to the group. I knew what was happening. Draco was officially a Death Eater; and the cabinet was his first task.
