oh, and decided to underline the stories that i love deeply. of course i love them all, seriously, but the ones i underlined are ones I literally sobbed over for days is what im trying to say. all the rest are amazing of course, otherwise I wouldn't have put them on my list. So they're all ones I recommend you read. you may even have a different opinion that me! I should note that I tend to love stories that are filled with tons of angst, pain, sadness, or delve into topics regarding taboo topics, mental health, drug addiction, etc. I love them because they're unique. so because thats my preference, i underlined that shit up! love you all

*The songbird and the sea - I fell in love with the characters so much now it hurts that its over. 
*Trying to behave (but you know that we never learned how) - crying. thats it. 
*Fall asleep (fall for you) - just so funny and cute
*House of cards - a classic this is amazing on so many levels but also wildly disturbing. 
*Warehouse Kings - a vivid and surreal experience 
*Seeking a Friend for The end of the world - sobbed in front of my mom and sister.
*Speed Demon - this is beautifully written
*inc. - lovely, lovely, lovely
*Ukiyo - Ugh the feels of this one man, might be up there will hoc with the angst. its one of my favorites of all time
*Petals and ink - SO FUCKING SWEET, i can't even. the heat is up there, just with the plot and everything, so amazing. And also, cute! So very cute!
*I bloomed for you - the angst in this one was too much for my heart. I loved it so much, honestly probably deserved a tad of a better ending, but the plot was enough to bring me back to life. Can't wait to read the next part....not :( i am not ready)
*Must be sunny  - amazing on so many levels and the smut was just- 

(OKAY NOTE FROM FUTURE SELF BC I CANT STOP THINKING AB THIS AMAZING FIC AND I REALIZED I WROTE PRACTICALLY NOTHING IN THE COMMENTARY HERE BUT THEN GUESS WHAT?!?! I FOUND A WHOLE SEPERATE NOTE I WROTE SIMPLY FOR THIS FIC SO ILL PASTE IT HERE!!!

"Side note/ follow up from list, to myself, whenever you read this (currently 2:59 AM, 2021): Must be sunny was angsty. I can't stop thinking about it. It's heavenly. The sexual tension between the characters was just amazing and oh so so so so bittersweet. I like how it expressed the meaning of love as a hardship. I like how the name only gets clarified at the end. Its a swap of things, a bit rough in the wording and word choice- clarified would have been better, but overall i am putting it on this list because it wasn't a waste of time. I liked the ending, though, indeed, it was bittersweet (i know im saying this for the hundredth time, but still, hope you get it). The aspect of being in an elite world full of money, wealth, hardship, tough love...i really enjoyed it. Read it again, pls."

To respond to my past self, in 2023 T^T, Thank you queen. for everything. and yes, still one of the fics i think about on a daily basis, surprisingly. its not one like i bloomed for you (sobs) or Ukiyo (shoots myself) or House of Cards (literally throw me over a bridge) but the writing- the stylistic choices, the plot development, the character's depth to their personality, motivations, the fucking SMUT (which i will never forget about, even two years fucking later!)- is what makes it incredible. also, just because im writing a lot for this one doesn't mean its my fav out of all of them, in fact, i can't pick a favorite. all of these are gorgeous. but, for some damn reason, this fic just happens to be one i can never forget about. i think its for personal reasons...that i have yet to fully decipher until i read the book again. to each their own T^T <3 and this was a simple, beautiful, hot, spicy, steamy, as well as admittedly *slightly* toxic cup of tea. end rant :'33*

Very good, very lengthy plot. It was very good though, definitely heavy on the angst. Really amazing though, even though I actually quit it halfway. Its deep, thats why. And a little boring, but I'm glad I picked it up and finished it. :'3 I'm telling you, its amazingly written. kinda blew my mind away towards the end. 
*taste of ink - got boring and then i finished it and it ripped my heart in two whole pieces and stepped on it. thank you author. definitely a story to remember.

but i liked this. okay i loved it. it made me cry chapter one.
