a video game spawn noise was heard, it echoed.

'kai?' cole said, reaching his hand out, trying to find his boyfriend. 'cole!?' kai responded, surprised. the earth elemental heard his lover, but could not see him. 'kai? kai, where are you!?' cole cried, pushing through the crowd, trying to find the fire elemental. he could feel all eyes on him but he didn't care. the only thing that mattered was finding his boyfriend, he kept pushing through the crowd, until he got stopped by a woman with pink pigtails and a ridiculous outfit that made her look like a cupcake.

'oh. my. god.' she said. 'are you cole, the earth ninja!?' she squealed. 'i-um.' cole stuttered. 'y-yes-?' he said impatiently. 'i am your biggest fan!!' she grabbed cole's hands and squealed, cole shifted uncomfortably and spoke. 't-thank you, but i really need to pass.' he heard his boyfriends cries in the backround. 'aww, why? i just want to hang out for a little bit..' she pouted. 'you have sooo much time before your friends save us. so why don't you hang out with me for a bit!' she exclaimed excitedly. 'i-i..' the earth elemental felt bad saying no, so he just said maybe later, and kept walking.

'cole!? where are you!?! why aren't you answering!?' kai cried, starting to get worried. 'kai! it's ok, are you ok though???' the earth elemental finally responded. 'i'm ok!! where are you??' the fire elemental asked.

the people of ninjago city never expected the ninja to act like this. they would've expected them to stay more calm and not worry about each other this much.

'cole- cole!! i think i can see you!!' kai cried, relived. 'kai?? i don't see you!' cole responded confused. 'what?' he said, surprised. 'then who's that?' he asked, pushing through more people to see if that was his boyfriend. he shoved a little more, receiving angry looks in return, kai ignored it and kept looking for the earth elemental. 'kai-? kai!' a voice yelled from behind him, the red ninja whipped around to see his boyfriend. 'cole!' kai cried, relived, his voice cracking slightly, his soft amber eyes teared up and he ran to his boyfriend. 'oh my god. you scared me.' kai held onto his boyfriend tighter, which he received a slight grunt, a light chuckle, and a hug. they stayed hugging for awhile, then cole grabbed kai's cheeks and kissed him on the cheek lightly, kai giggled and grabbed cole's cheeks softly and kissed him.

there was gasps heard all around but the couple ignored them, or, more like, didn't hear them, they were too busy to pay attention to the people around them.

ok, i think everyone can agree that this oneshot was way too short and it was honestly really bad. but, i will redeem myself by another oneshot that's far more interesting than this. i will try to do better lmao.
