Although they didn't get to see an ice city, Lin Qing He and Mother Weng had established a revolutionary friendship along the way.
It had also made Mother Weng particularly satisfied with the atmosphere of Zhou Family.
She felt if her daughter married over and has such a sensible and capable mother-in-law, it wouldn't bad, right?
Lin Qing He felt that Mother Weng was a kind and gentle soul. So she was also satisfied.
After all the way back to the capital, it happened to be the Lantern Festival when the group arrived.
"How about not cooking at all. Get old Weng and eat lamb dumplings in our shop." Lin Qing He suggested.
"Oh, I can't really." Mother Weng said with a smile.
"No need to be reserved. Go back and drop your baggage. Then call old Weng. We will wait for the next bus and head over." Lin Qing He insisted.
"No need. You head back first. I will ask old Weng later. If we haven't reach there before 5:30, then you can eat by yourself. Don't worry about us." Mother Weng responded.
"Then remember to come." Lin Qing He said.
Mother Weng arrived at her stop soon. Once she got off, she waved and went back. She thought that Father Weng was home, but unexpectedly he wasn't.
But when Lin Qing He and the children get back, they saw Father Weng at the dumpling shop.
"Oh, old Weng, you are here. I just told Mei Jia’s mother to get you and spend the Lantern Festival together with us and she got off her stop. Quickly cycle back and bring her over." Lin Qing He rapidly uttered at the sight of Father Weng.
After going out, the relationship development was very fast and the way of addressing had changed.
Father Weng grinned and said, "Then both of us will disturb you tonight."
"What disturbance. The more, the merrier," Lin Qing He replied.
Father Weng laughed and rode his bike back. Lin Qing He looked at Zhou Qing Bai, and Zhou Qing Bai also looked at his wife.
"I've been away for so many days, did you miss me?" Lin Qing He walked over, avoided Er Ni and the rest, and whispered.
Zhou Qing Bai swept a glance at her and then continued to make dumplings. Lin Qing He knew he must have missed her.
She was tired after sitting on the train for so long, so she went to lie down on the second floor.
Zhou Er Ni helped her fourth uncle.
Zhou Xuan and the boys took their stuff home to drop them first. They laid on their sofa and felt greatly relieved.
Although traveling was fun, it was extremely draining in terms of energy consumption.
"Hurry up. Clean up and go to the shop. It's almost time for dinner." Hu Zi urged.
"It's only four o'clock. I estimate it will be around six o'clock when we start eating." Gang Zi responded.
"That's right." Zhou Gui Lai also laid down. He didn't want to move.
Lying on the sofa was uncomfortable, so he went back to the room to go to nap. Gang Zi followed too.
A big bed was added to the room, which was enough to sleep. After all, they were still teens. The two fell asleep in a while.
"I will also go in and lie down for a while. Call us later, Hu Zi." Zhou Xuan said.
