The paramedics were soon called and Angela was going to be fine but she did have a concussion. Y/n thought Angela got what she deserved. She wished she could have done that to Eileen Jones, the girl who bullied her throughout 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
El looked very guilty. But y/n could tell something else was bothering her other then just smacking Angela with a roller skate.
Jonathan and Argyle soon came to pick them up and came inside to see the commotion. Y/n could tell they were both as high as anything.
The ride home was mostly silence. Except for Argyle and Jonathan's meaningless conversations. Mike hadn't spoken much to y/n since he found out she lied to him. Y/n noticed he was distant ever since he found out. She didn't know why.
"I know this may be, upsetting and shit, but that future prom queen is gonna be fine." Argyle said. "I mean it was just like rubber wheels."
"Plastic." Jonathan corrected as if it mattered.
"Oh." Argyle sighed in realisation.
"Not like hard plastic. Just..." Jonathan trailed off. "Just the soft kind."
"Totally." Argyle agreed. "But you ever wonder why the wheels aren't wood, man? Or metal? It's so people don't get hurt then they get shmacked."
"Oh." Jonathan said in realisation in his high state. Y/n rolled her eyes at her brother. How was he gonna hide how high he was from their mother?
"Yeah, because it happens more than you think, man." Argyle said then turned to Y/n, Mike, Will and El in the back. "Roller skate attacks."
"Man. Hey, at least it wasn't an ice skate." Jonathan said.
"That nose would've been sliced clean off, man." Argyle said and Jonathan exclaimed in agreement. "It could've been so much worse."
"So much worse." Jonathan added. "In the Fran scheme of things, it's just a little blip."
"That's a funny word, man." Argyle chuckled.
"Blip." Jonathan repeated.
"Blip." Argyle said.
This resulted in them both repeating "Blip." Over and over like it was some sorta music.
"Blip, blip, blip blip, blip, blip, blip blip, blip, blip, blip, blip blip, blip, blip, blip, blip blip, blip." They continued.
"Stop it!" Y/n snapped and they both stopped quickly.
"I think it's that time of the month." Argyle muttered.
Y/n scoffed in disbelief.

They got back to the house and entered to find Joyce not there to greet them like she usually did.
"Mum?" Will called as they walked into the kitchen.
"Well, well! Aren't you a lot a sight for sore eyes, huh?" Said Murray Bauman. He was in the kitchen cooking.
Everyone looked at him confused except for Jonathan.
"Hi, Murray." He said, joyfully as if this was normal.
"You kids like risotto?" Murray asked.
"Yeah." Jonathan answered with a chuckle.
They all got to eating and caught up with Joyce, who had greeted them all like normal.
"So there I was, headed down the I-5, going to see a client in Ventura." Murray started saying once they were all seated at the table. "I'm looking for a motel to stay for the night, and suddenly bam, it hits me." He said and banged his hands on the table. "Didn't the Byers move here?"
