i knocked on his door and let myself in.
he was sat on his bed, so i sat next to him.
"hey." i said
"hi."
"i'm sorry about yesterday, therye still on the hunt for the gold and they just wanted my help, i promise nothing happened between me and jj, you know he has a thing for putting blunts in my pocket."
"okay."
"i won't lie to you again, but you also have to trust me, you did follow me in the first place."

"is that it?" i asked

"he deals me drugs." he replied

"i owe him money, like a lot of it. i thought of a deal to make with you y/n."

i shook his hand, he didn't let go and pulled me in for a soft kiss on his lips.

part of me wondered if rafe was only with me for the gold.
but another part of me wondered if he genuinely loved me and just needed help.
there was a knock at the door.
"rafe meet me in the car now."
"dad y/n is here what is it?" he said
"now."
"im sorry darling, just wait here i won't be long."
rafe said as he walked out of his room slowly shutting the door behind him.
and i waited.
i must of fell asleep but when i woke up in the morning rafe still wasn't back.
i tried calling him but there was no response.
