It was bound to happen. Aelia hoped it wouldn't happen for a long time, but the deities were divided, forming groups. All with the same goal, power. As the war commenced, all groups perished but one, one who wouldn't dare play by the rules, the one of Zeus and Odin. An unlikely allegiance was the unanimous opinion of everyone. However, this unlikely alliance of two of the most powerful gods was the main hand in pulling the sky from underneath Aelia's feet. The most powerful weapon in their artillery was perhaps their emotional warfare. From spreading their own gospel to spreading rumours amongst the egoistic deities, their work was mainly throwing in swords in a raging battle.

Odin, while being the God of the Nine Realms, was merely a figurehead, another idol for the mortals to worship, for the gods to be terrified at the mere thought of. Even with this support, Zeus had to work quick, and so he did.

Aelia overthrown, her children in despair, and Odin discarded like a meagre pawn, Zeus was finally in power.
