'Is it really worth the wait'

About the time I finally woke up the next morning everyone has already taken a shower and ordered food for breakfast, I sighed to myself when I saw Gerard missing from the table where the other three are sitting in Frank and Ray's room.
"We haven't seen him yet." Ray said as soon as he saw the question about Gerard in my eyes, I grab the bag with drink after asking what's Gerards and walk toward his room.
"Gerard, breakfast." I called out after knocking three times and he opens the door with sleep still covering his eyes, I hold out his small brown bag with a steaming cup of coffee which he gently takes from my hands before shutting the door again.
'Give him time, (Y/N). Not only he finds out that he has a mate but his brother and two other band members also shares the same mate, he still grieving about what he had before we had to go on the run to take their lives safe.'
Guilt digs it's fingers deep into my heart when I think about how happy they were before meeting me and with a sigh that seems to become one with me these days I return back to the room, I stare at the wall with my mind in another place as I nibbling on (favorite fast food breakfast) causing the others at the table to worry about me. An idea pops into Mikey's mind at what could have caused me to act like this with speed he eats what he has left of his own breakfast.
"You two get him out of this and showered, I need to look at something." He quickly told the other two before running off to the van, sitting in the passenger seat after opening the door and pulling out the bestiary from his satchel that's sits on the floor. He opens the large thick book to the red sticky note he had mark about werewolves to read when he had time alone and mumbled the words he reads to himself.
'Werewolves: Are beings/humans that transforms into another shape with similarities of a wolf, this is called lycanthropy. There are many types branches of werewolves just as there are many types of were's but they all still fall under the same category/tree.
Meraki: (common) to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work. This species of werewolves are called this for that they are one with their wolves side the most, even subconscious, while other species of this category/tree act like/are two separate people when shifted. BEWARE! that even though they're of the same tree doesn't mean they share the same weakness.
Meraki's usually appear in human form and can shift to varying degrees into a bipedal wolf-like creature with increased body hair, fangs, and glowing eyes. But there are instances/records where some can achieve a full from of a regular wolf or similar, while the tell of the Temenos seems to only legend.
Most werewolves gathers/lives in small or large groups called packs to either to form a family or to protect each other in dire times *werewolves aren't the only supernatural beings that lives this way*. Packs have three sections Alpha, Beta, and Omega........................

Mates Every supernatural beings have a mate or in other instances mates, a person/s to fill an emty space they never knew they had until they find this person/persons. The wooing process to get accepted by person/s is always complicated since every situation is different along with the person/s but there is always the fear of rejection (which dose happen).
Rejection is basically the person/s way of telling that they don't need or want them in their life, wither is meant or accident *ex: having distance between them more then a few days in the process of wooing has them subconscious believe they have been rejected.* Every reaction is different per person but the most common/noticeable side affects are that they see no meaning to their lives, depression, drinking, even sometimes violence and most don't survive. If the person has multiple mates and only one or two has rejected them they'll still experience the side affects but not to the full degree, at this time the person must be handle with care and keep the mates that did accepted by their side until side effects have fully passed which could last days,weeks, even months.'
Mikey stop from reading farther once the idea he had is confirmed, it's been days hell even more then a week since Gerard said a word to (Y/N) and even now he knows he still avoids him. Rage once again consumes Mikey as he stomps his way back to Gerard's motel room and slam his fist against his door until it opens, he pushes his way into the room throwing the open book from his arms and onto the table.
"I get it if you don't or can't accept him but don't make him suffer with your silence, tell him so he doesn't have to wait or hope for something that might never happen." With that he's gone from Gerard view, hesitating a few seconds Gerard reads the page that Mikey had left it on but only few things has register in his mind.
'Rejection, don't need or want them, distance between them more then a few days in the process of wooing has them subconscious believe they have been rejected, they see no meaning to their lives, depression, drinking, even sometimes violence and most don't survive, DON'T SURVIVE'
Tears began to fill his eyes as a sob escapes his throat, after last night of being told why he feels the way he does with Frank and (Y/N) he finds himself wanting to accept (Y/N) since he already forgive him about what happened days ago but something is stopping him from doing so, the only reason he's distancing himself from him is so he can figure it out to solve it. It's like he's waiting for something to happen first before accepting and it's not hurting (Y/N) but it's hurt everyone even himself.
