Laurel laughs with her husband. She was smiling, gesturing him out over the black tape recorder. "Well Wilden! You're not gonna get that thing working!"

"I think I've got it!" He exclaimed with his grin.

The cassette ultimately recording from the black tape recorder.

Laurel goes to the living room. "I'm gonna watch from over here!" She exclaims. Laurel sat on her green sofa.

Wilden was curious yet happy. "Hello? HELLO?!" He inquired in exclamation.

Laurel grabs her sewing kit. "You know, our son couldn't wait to meet him." She mentioned.

Wilden rolls his eyes. "Oh is that right?" He asked.

Laurel puts a white thread thru the sewing needle. "Yes." She answered with her giggle.

Laurel picked up the midnight blue quilt. "After leaving you alone with Barley, it's not easy being a good parent." She said.

Wilden smiles at his wife. "Well I'm trying to." He utters.

Laurel checks on him. She raised her eyebrow. "When I got back home, I saw you and our boy dead asleep on the sofa." Laurel said.

Wilden goes chuckling. "Heh heh heh heh heh." He admitted.

Laurel was mischievous. "Barley could really run so quick!" She exclaims.

Wilden smiles bigger. "I know!" He exclaimed.

Laurel was cheerful. "Do you think Barley will be happy to have a pet dragon around here?" She wondered.

Wilden was confident. "Well let's find out." He replied.

Laurel focuses on her sewing project. "Oh I gotta work on this for our next baby coming." She said.

Wilden looks at the black tape recorder. "Okay bye." He said.

Wilden pressed the stop button to the black tape recorder.

The blue bearded elf faced his wife. Wilden made his sad smile. "Laurel..." he said.

The blue elf woman faces him. Laurel was compassionate. "I know what you're going to say, Wil." She believed.

The blue bearded elf presses the eject button. He removes the cassette from the black tape recorder. "I really wanted to meet Ian in person, honey. If only I could hold on a little longer." Wilden said.

Laurel sighs. "I'm sorry that you've got sick, hun. I just hoped the tape helps." She reassured.

The blue bearded elf takes a deeper breath. Wilden contemplated the tape. "Maybe this is not enough for him." He said.

Laurel pitied her husband. She loved him so much.

The blue bearded elf looks at his wife. "Laurel...I need you to promise me something..." Wilden urged.

The blue elf woman was willing to try. "Anything, Wil." Laurel said. She awaited for what he'll say next.

The blue bearded elf was ready for his right words to come out. "Promise me that you'll tell a bedtime story to Barley...And then, Ian...about the wizard in Scotland...Please..." Wilden pleaded.

Laurel was pleased yet awkward. "Ha, ha. If you can tell me about that today, maybe I'll do the same for them, honey." She declares.

The blue bearded elf nodded his head thrice times. Then, Wilden was joyful. "Okay." He agreed.

Wilden told a tale to his wife about the wizard elf in Scotland. About how he met the Scottish fighter named Fergus, who hunts for the bear named Mor'du. About the princess named Elinor who falls in love with Fergus. And about the wizard elf, who puts Fergus and Elinor together by his prophecy. Wilden left the part out that the bear was still alive after the last battle. He only changed the ending of the story. So the kingdom was saved from Mor'du and the new king and queen lived happily ever after.

Laurel likes the story. She would share that tale to Barley and Ian soon.
