While Fergus and Princess Elinor makes a conversation outside of the campsite, Wilden was being called out by the queen.
Inside of the big yellow tent, the blue bearded elf and the queen looked at each other.
She was one particular reason to bring Wilden over. The queen was serious. "How long have ye known Fergus, wizard elf?" She asked.
The blue bearded elf was solemn. Wilden adjusted his sweatshirt. "Just today, your majesty. Fergus and I met in the forest." He answered truthfully.
The queen nodded her head. "I see." She said.
The blue bearded elf was confused. "Is there anything else you want to tell or ask me about, your majesty?" Wilden wondered.
The queen was certain of herself. "I do have something to say to ye, wizard elf." She replied.
The blue bearded elf was grinning nervously. "Your majesty, for some circumstances, you can call me Wilden. Yes, I am an elf. My big pointy ears kinda gives my appearance away here." He admitted. The blue bearded elf chuckles.
The queen took a deep breath. She was melancholy. "Wilden...I am expecting the lords with their suitors for my daughter's hand in the castle..." The queen mentioned.
The blue bearded elf was disbelieved. Wilden has the objection to his thought at her. "Your majesty, what about Fergus?" Wilden inquired.
The blue bearded elf was concerned. "Why can't HE prove his love to your daughter?" Wilden asks.
The queen was crossed. "Fergus is not a prince." She answers in her protest.
Wilden was resolute. "Then let Fergus compete against the suitors for the princess. This will change Elinor's fate." Wilden argued.
The queen huffed. She crisscrosses her arms. "How, Wilden the Whimsical, do ye know about my daughter's fate then?" The queen wonders.
The blue bearded elf was frowning. "I don't know about the princess' fate. All I know is the woodcarver summoned ME to keep the bear away from your kingdom." Wilden replies in his vent.
The queen sighed. She was making her sad smile. "Very well. I will leave ye for your concern about Mor'du. And as for my daughter, Elinor, I would allow her to choose the suitor for her worth." The queen declared.
The blue bearded elf was pleased. "Great." Wilden said.
The blue bearded elf blinked his eyes once. Wilden was mischievous. "Just curious, your majesty, how is the suitors going to compete for the princess?" The blue bearded elf asked.
The queen was confident. She puts her hands together. "Each of the lords may present their firstborn sons as their champions. To prove my daughter's worth for her hand, she will pick the test of any skill for the tournament. The last competitor stands might become Dunbroch's future king. There are four clans after all." The queen answered in her explanation.
Wilden was puzzled. "If Dunbroch is the clan, who are the other three clans, your majesty?" He wondered.
The queen was knowledgeable. "They are McIntosh, MacGuffin and Dingwall." She replied.
The blue bearded elf took a deep breath. "When will the tournament takes place in Dunbroch?" Wilden asks.
The queen narrowed her eyes. "If ye are asking for Fergus to come, lad, the three lords are presenting their suitors for Elinor tomorrow. It's just marriage. My daughter will understand soon once I tell her." The queen answers, assuring him.
The blue bearded elf was unease. "Your majesty, you're forcing your daughter to marry one of the three strangers. I don't think Elinor would be ready for such commitment. This is just what YOU want." He reasoned.
The queen was peeved. "Wilden, ye worried about the demon bear named Mor'du. I will be concerning what's best for my daughter. That's over and done with now. I'll see ye and Fergus in my castle, lad." She mentions.
The blue bearded elf sighs. Wilden made his awkward smile. "Then I will see you and the princess tomorrow, your majesty." He said. The blue bearded elf bowed to her.
Wilden left the big yellow tent.
The blue bearded elf sees Fergus talking with Elinor.
They are having fun with their conversation.
Fergus and Elinor are giggling like lovebirds.
Wilden was anxious. The blue bearded elf takes deeper breaths. It relieves his aching head.
"What am I gonna do?" Wilden whispered in his inquiry.
