In the New Mushroomton, the one mushroom house in Pennybun Lane, there are two elves coming to the front door.
Gaxton knocks on the door four times.
They are waiting for the answer.
The blue elf with his mustache was befuddled.
The blue elf woman was confused. "Are you sure he's here, Gaxton?" She wondered.
The blue elf with his mustache surveys the driveway. Gaxton gestures out. "His car was here." He replied.
The blue elf woman sighed. "Okay, but we're only here because your friend hasn't been out after the weekend." She said.
In Wilden's bedroom, the clothes closet door opens itself. There was only the elf's left leg shown.
The blue bearded elf was buried by his own cleaned laundry.
Wilden moans.
Gaxton goes to the left side of the house. The blue elf with his mustache was concerned. "Sometimes, he forgets to lock this door here." Gaxton confirms.
The blue elf woman was emotionless. She touches the doorknob. When the blue elf woman turns it, the side door ultimately opened slightly.
She blinks her eyes twice. "Huh, I guess your friend did forget to lock the side door." The blue elf woman stated.
The blue elf with his mustache was unanticipated yet smiling. "Okay...let's find him..." Gaxton suggested.
The two elves went inside the house.
The blue elf with his mustache came in first. Gaxton was anxious. "Wilden?! Hey, are you home?!" Gaxton hollered in his inquiry.
The blue elf woman follows him. She was amazed of the kitchen. Then, the blue elf woman continues to follow the blue mustache elf.
Gaxton looks up. "Sorry for barging in! We were just wondering if you forgot to start working!" He shouted.
Back in Wilden's bedroom, the blue bearded elf steadies himself up. Wilden left his clothes falling onto the hardwood floor. He got a purple sock on his left shoulder. The blue bearded elf took a deep breath. Wilden was tired at first. When he hears the familiar voice, the blue bearded elf was overwhelmed. "My job! I forgot about my accounting job!" Wilden screamed.
Then, he heard more than a pair of footsteps hurrying upstairs.
It was Gaxton and the another character.
The blue mustache elf was relieved. "Oh, Wilden, you're here." Gaxton said.
The blue bearded elf was baffled. "Gaxton, what are you doing here?" Wilden asked.
The blue mustache elf gestured with his right thumb. Gaxton was chuckling. "You forgot to lock the side door again." He answered in explanation.
She moves herself in front of the blue mustache elf. The blue elf woman was concerning. "Hey, are you okay? What happened to you lately?" She wonders.
The blue elf woman points him out. "Gaxton hasn't seen you after the weekend. We thought something was wrong with you." She clarified.
The blue bearded elf scratches his back of his head. Wilden made his nervous smile. "Uh, a lot of things have happened to me lately. I guess I did forgot about my first day as the accountant. And maybe I got distracted by everything." He replies in his clarification. The blue bearded elf grinned.
The blue elf woman noticed something on Wilden. She was giggling.
The blue bearded elf was bewildered. "What?" Wilden asks.
The blue elf woman gestures to her left shoulder. "You have a sock on your shoulder there." She answers.
The blue bearded elf touched his right shoulder. Wilden used his right hand. The blue bearded elf crazily touches his right shoulder. Wilden feels nothing.
The blue elf woman was smiling yet getting her giggles. "Other side, other side." She said.
The blue bearded elf goes to his left shoulder. Wilden grabbed it. The blue bearded elf pulls the purple sock out of his left shoulder. Wilden glanced at it. The blue bearded elf was alarmed. "OH!" Wilden exclaimed.
Gaxton laughs.
The blue elf woman was smirking. "Do you have a laundry day, mister?" She wondered.
The blue bearded elf chuckles. Wilden don't know if he was embarrassed or pleased. The blue bearded elf raised his eyebrow. "Heh heh heh, I guess I was going thru my clothes in my room." Wilden replied in his utterance.
The blue elf woman was cheerful. "I know your name's Wilden. Your friend told me. I'm Laurel." She said. The blue elf woman offers her left hand.
The blue bearded elf took her hand with his left hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Laurel." Wilden said.
Wilden and Laurel shakes their hands up and down a few times.
They stared at each other.
Something caught them in the moment.
Wilden and Laurel are surprised at first.
Then, they recognized.
Wilden and Laurel let go of their hands.
They are blushing.
The blue elf woman clears her throat. Laurel was happy. "Hey, do you wanna talk while we're having coffee together, Wil?" She asked.
The blue bearded elf was glad. Wilden seems to like her already. "Coffee sounds good, Laurel." He answered.
Gaxton waved at the blue bearded elf. The blue mustache elf was delightful. "I am grateful that you're okay, Wilden. See you later." Gaxton said.
Wilden waves back at the blue mustache elf. "Bye, Gaxton!" He exclaims.
And so, Wilden and Laurel became quick friends.
After their first coffee together, they keep getting along with each other.
Soon after countless dates, Wilden and Laurel got married.
