Days go by slower than slow when you're immortal. The sun rises and sets, a constant reminder of the passing time. "Tourists," as humans call the people that come into my house without my authorization and explore my house, come and go.
I don't like to believe the state I'm in, but I know where I'm at. I'm currently in a coffin, in a basement, and desperate need of a bath.
We, vampires, may not have the ability to reek, but we still feel highly dirty. So dirty that we have the urgent need to bathe. Time feels endless when you're immortal.
I have the potency to end this restless, endless slumber, but I decide not to. I'm not in the mood to deal with a foul human. But what I am in the mood for is a lady. I was a ladies' man back in the 60s. However my nobleness got the best of me, and I needed a refreshment of who I was, who I am.
In the span of my long lifetime, I've encountered many lovers, men, and women. But I've never had one like Magnus. Magnus solely his name in my head, sounds like an imagination. The human species should be honored to be called by that very name.
I can't even form my sentiments into the thoughts of what I felt for him. He was my lover, simple as that... until he killed himself and tried to take me with him.
In the span of my lifetime, I've been everywhere and experienced everything. I've even welcomed extinction with open arms, and yet I still don't feel like I've had enough. Recently, there's been a part of me that feels like I am missing, and it irritates the hell outta me.
My ears prick up at the sound of the tourists opening my front door with a creak and walking into my house. I want to slaughter them, all of them, and demand on who permitted you to walk into my home. However, I'm sluggish, stubborn, and all of the necessities that come with the unique word called "lazy".
"..And on these paintings, everyone is who we suppose this marvelous castle belongs to." A woman, presumably directing the mass of disgusting humans, says to the gathering.
A mass of clicking is heard that drives my sensitive hearing to want to pop like a human neck cracking. I would very much fancy directing these "tourists" to an uninvitation that would surely satisfy my desires. I'm sure of it.
Having unknown souls you do not know of rampaging about your house isn't very pleasing, primarily when you don't know where they've been..., especially where their wee humans have been. Disgusting humans continually harbor germs or some type of sickness or disease on them.
I wish we could go back to 1918 when the Spanish Flu killed millions of humans. It helped vampires keep the population in check without revealing themselves to the community and people in power.
