My body shivered as I arrived at my destination, a prison of education. I still didn't see or understand why this was at all necessary. I looked out of the window and into the place i would be spending the rest of my teen years in. "Welcome to Westminster high", Lucas was like a voice inside of my head. He made me feel schizophrenic.
I stepped out of Lucas' cherry red Ferrari and noticed all the laser eyes staring into my soul, only to then notice they were all staring at my dear brother. Lucas was a ladies man. He had and always will be popular. He wasn't home schooled like me. Which also explains why he has triple the friends I've got..
Plus, he was blessed with the families gorgeous blonde hair, long and curly. He had green eyes, which had always mesmerised me, ever since i was a little girl. Luca's didnt have to do much to get a girls attention, and he knew it.As i continued on into the entrance of the school, i felt safe. The way that the tree branches hugged the school made me feel protected. I felt like this school was different... But what would i know? I'm a homeschooled kid.
Then the bell rung. I really wasn't used to that sound. It pierced through my ears like the 4th of July fireworks.
People started to make their way to class, well thats what I'd assume they would be doing. Otherwise i guess they would be at their lockers or in the toilets. I have no clue.A strangers voice interrupted my thoughts, "Mr Faulton, pleasure to meet you". A tall man dressed in a dark blue suit shook my brothers hand firmly. "And you must be Chenae". The man now faced me and shook my hand. At second glance, and with a proper look, the man seemed to be around 30 years old, he had almost no hair, and could have possibly had more hair on his moustache than on his head. He was the principle.
By the time principle Palper had finished showing Lucas and I around the school, it was lunch time. I had no where to sit. Different flocks of people gathered at separate tables. It was exactly how i had seen it in the movies. Was there a place for homeschool kids?
"Chenae, you can come sit with me", Lucas shouted out from his crowded table. Right now, sitting with a bunch of strangers was the last thing I wanted, but Lucas was the closest thing i had to a friend. And my food tasted like shit.
