Steve is sleeping on a hospital bed, Sam is by his side on a chair "resting" his eyes and you're curled up in his lap also sleeping. Music is playing from someones phone, some type of R&B, Steve wakes up and looks to his left.
"On your left" he says soflty waking up Sam who smirks soflty knowing that his friend is okay."How is she?"
"Good"Sam caresses your cheek gently. You open your eyes slowly and smile when you see the beautiful chocolate eyes of your love. He gives you a sweet kiss."hi Sunshine"
"hi" you smile still half asleep and then you look at Steve whose gase you felt from quite some time"hi Steve"
~Time Skip~
The three of your were in the cemetery looking at a tombstone with the name of Nick Fury encarved on it.
"So, you've experienced this sort of thing before" the "dead" man said coming to your side "You get used to it. We've been data fishing HYDRA's files. Looks like a lot of rats didn't go down with the ship. I'm headed to Europe tonight. Wanted to ask if you'd come."
"There's something I've got to do first" Steve awnsers.
"How about you Wilson? Could use a man with your abilities. And you (L / N)?"
"I'm more of a soldier than a spy"
"I left those days behind."
"Alright then" Fury says defeated. Y'all shake hands after and he goes away. Natasha appears and talks to Steve, you're not really paying attention.
"Hey, you're good?" Sam asks looking at you in concern and grabs your hand. You give his hand a gentle squeeze and smile as he kisses it.
"I'm good, still tired."
Sam leaves your side and goes to Steve, he looks over his shoulder and sees a picture of frozen Bucky. You go after him and see the picture too. You remember someone frozen like this when you were a child. It wasn't Bucky. There were more than one and you are pretty sure it's the same thing that is happening in the picture.
"You're going after him"
"You don't have to come with me"
"I know. When do we start?"
"Did your lady agreed to it?"
"Theres no better way to get rid of your demons than fight them" you say with a more confident smile.
