Chapter 6: The helicarrier

You watched Steve from afar as he looked in the distance. Something about his stare reminded you of yourself. He looked calm but clearly disturbed probably because he discovered that his bestfriend was still alive and brain washed. Then you feel a hand on your waist. Sam holds you for sometime with a relaxed expression.

"He's s disturbed" you simply stated. Your lover nods understandingly and went to talk to the blond man that America called a hero. You couldn't understand what they were saying but by their expressions it seemed that it was working. Some time passed you went to the america history museum to get the captiain's suit.

~Time Skip~

You guys enter in the stablishment by force. Y'all wait on a door and a worker opens it. Sam and Maria point their guns to the man and Steve asks permission to enter, the man just steps aside letting you guys go. Steve gets to a microphone that is connected to all the speakers in the building.

"Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, this is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think its the time for you to know the truth. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader, the S.T.R.I.K.E. and insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they are in the building. They could be standing next to you and they almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it wont end there. If you launch those helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot but the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's the price I'm willing to pay and if I am the only one, then so be it, But I'm wiling to bet that I'm not.

"Did you write that down first, or was it off from the top of your head?" Sam teases and you give him a little nudge.

"You went well Rogers" you reassure him with a gentle smile. 

Not much time has passed and you hear sounds outside and Maria Hill calling from the intercomunicator saying that they were iniciating lauch. Kickly you and the two boys start running to the outside trying to stop the situation.

"Hey Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" You loving man asks.

"If they're shooting at you they're bad sweety" you answer calmly. Sam opens his wings and flys, Steve and you jump of the building but you hold onto Sam's ankle. You let go of it a few meters away and hold your knees next to your chest letting you hit the ground without a problem. You get up and run behind a man cutting his neck with your survival knife type two. The man falls bringing more attention to you. In a fast move you get your Uzi 9Mm and shoot the HYDRA agents clearing a path so it was easier for you and Steve to get through.

"Hey honey, I found those bad guys you were talking about." 

"You okay?"

"I'm not dead yet"

"You better not be" The possebilety of him dying breaks you. You've come so far in life because of him, he is your soul, love and joy so the minimum though of him dying breaks you small heart in two. Your line of thought is interrupter by Maria asking your boyfriend his status.

"Engagin"

Start to make your way again. You turn a corner and get face to face with one of the so called bad guy. You hit his face with the back of your gun and punch his stomach with your free hand finaly ending him by hitting him in the back of the head with you gun. You finaly get to Steve and stay by his side.

"Alright Cap I'm in." Sam confirms "Oh shit"

"Whoo yeah! I'm in" Your boyfrind exclaims after some minutes.

"Two down one to go" agent Hill confirms.

You and Steve start running ignoring all the commotion around you. You focus on guarding Steve as your run.

"Hey. Sam, gonna need a ride" the blond says. 

"Roger. Let me know when you're ready"

"Just did" You exclaim as both you and the old man jump. Sam flys down and holds steve with his right hand and you with his left. You fly till you reach the third helicarrier and he lets the two of you go, joining the ground seconds after.

"You're a lot heavier than you look" He grunts and then looks at you " Weren't you going to cut on the cakes?"

You gave him a stern look, even tough you new he was joking it was true you were a bit heavier due to the fact of having strong muscels. Not that you were buff no way (the last time you trained your muscels to become strong as very long ago) but still you were stronger than a normal healthy woman because of the serum. Sam kicly puts his hands in the air surending to your stare as he mumbles a quick k appology.  Out of knowhere the Wintersoldier comes running and pushes Steve out of the helicarrier. Sam rushes towards the fallen soldier but Bucky rushes  towards him, grabs him by the wing and like a toy he threws him to the opposite direction. Out of knowhere you get a suddent hit of confidence, you kick the brunnet in the side while screaming.

"I'm the only one who can kick him around, bitch" and from the ear piece you hear Sam say to himself.

"God I love her so much"

The metal armed man kicks you in the knee and then punches your face, Sam uses this to shoot him in the back but kickly the soldier protects himself with his arm to a safe place. Sam flys to the other side but Bucky uses a grabbling hook to catch one of his wings and tears it appart of his suit. You try to interfere while your boyfriend gets up but the winter soldier pushes you against Sam and both of you fall of the platform. Sam takes his other wing off and by the waist he grabs you bringing close while he opens a parachute. 

"I'm still on the helicarrier, where are you?"

"We are grounded. The suit's down, sorry Cap"

"Don't worry I got it"

You get your mind straight again while Sam' takes of his jacket"

"(Y / N)?" 

"Yeah?" You answer Maria.

"Rumlow's headed to the Council"

"I got it" You run and get inside the bulding as you hear Sam yell for you to wait for him. You get faster to the tol floors by using the emergency stairs and wait for the HYDRA agent, well either him or you lover. A door opens beside you and it's Rumlow. You don't hesitate on punching his face and as a result he stumbles to the side. You grab his shoulders and knee him on his stomach but he holds your arms in the process, pushing you down with him as he bangs his head against yours. He kicks you and throws you to the side. Out of knowhere Sam grabs his waist and both fall giving punches to each other like teenage students fighting for the girl they like. Finally they separate from each other and get up.

"There's no prisoners with HYDRA. Just order. And orther comes through pain. Are you ready for-" Rumble doesn't have time to finish as you through a chair to him.

"Don't you DARE finish that question." you scream as you pick another chair. 

"Calm down (Y / N)." Sam grabs your arm but a loud  sound cuts your line of thinking. The helicarrier is falling down bringing the building with it. You and Sam run. You both jump out of the window towards the helicopter and get in with the help of Natasha. after you were sited the red haired woman tries to contact her blond friend but no response.
