Y/N's POV
After a few minutes of waiting, we finally heard someone open the control room's door. It was a soldier. He was scared and screaming at someone in front of him. We heard gunshots, and the guard fell to the ground.
We all looked at the window, scared to see what would happen next. A blue mutant looked at us from behind the glass.
"Kurt ?" Hank said, identifying the teen.
He began talking to us, but we couldn't hear him.
"What ?" We all said in unison.
Raven pointed at her ear and Kurt understood. Kurt clicked on a button and we could finally hear him, but his voice was distorted.
"Stay away from the- The do- Stay away from-"
"Get away from the door !" Raven screamed.
We all ran to the wall furthest away from the entrance.
The door exploded, and on the other side were two students from Charles's school.
"We know where the professor is" The red-haired girl said.
"I think we might have a way out of here" Her friend added before he started running towards, what I assumed was, the exit. Our group followed, as we wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible.
Kurt suddenly appeared in front of Peter.
"Ah !"
"Sorry"
A garage door opened in front of us. Instead of leading to an exit, it lead to an airplane and some uniforms.
"Hank, you think you can fly this thing ?" Raven asked.
He nodded.
Raven walked towards the uniforms and looked at them.
"You got your warplane. Let's go to war"

We all sat in the plane, as Hank flew to Cairo. That was where the professor was according to Jean.
We all stayed silent until Jean decided to speak up.
"Were you scared ? That day in DC, were you scared ?" She asked as she turned to face Raven.
"No. But I was scared on my first mission. I was on a plane like this with my friends. About your age. We called ourselves the X-men" Raven answered.
"What happened to your friends ? The X-men ?" I asked.
"Hank and I are the only ones left. I couldn't save the rest of them. I told you, I'm no hero"
"Well, you're a hero to us. Seeing you that day on TV changed my life" Jean added, trying to lighten up the mood.
"Mine, too"Kurt said.
"Mine, too. I mean... I'm a total loser. And if it weren't for Y/N, I'd still be living in my mom's basement" Peter said with a laugh.
We all chuckled.
"My life changed too. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for that moment" I added, remembering my mother's reaction to learning about mutants.
"Seventh wonder. Twelve o' clock" Hank said as we approached a pyramid.
"He has the professor in the center of the pyramid. He's going to transfer his consciousness into the professor. If he does that... he'll have the power to control every mind in the world" Jean explained.
