(Opening scene)

A soft breeze is blowing, the sound of birds chirping flow along the wind. Its autumn time. Leaves and twigs cover the ground. An old warn down barn barley, but strongly, stands in the middle of a rarely visited, wooded area in Kansas. Animals move around and graze on what little grass they can find under all the dying leaves, looking for acorns or fruit that had fallen from nearby trees. Going on with life as like every other day before it. Not a care or worry in the world.

When suddenly the barn doors bursts open, startling the birds and other animals who take hid and scurry away at the commotion. Rose emerges threw the entryway. She had found a family of vamps and is now fleeing after having lost her machete in a struggle. A vamp had grabbed her from behind, after she killed two of their members and to stop her before she could harm anymore. He tried to snap her arm to prevent her from swinging the weapon again. The action only having caused the machete to fly across the barn, and out of reach and sight. In a last ditch effort Rose slammed her head back, smashing it into the vamps face and stomping onto his foot at the same time, then she bolted for the door once she was released. Once pass the entrance, she begins to run into the woods. Moments later, out comes sprinting a different vamp. Chasing her down for the revenge of his fallen family.

As Rose runs, dozens of trees go by in a blur. She's trying to think of a way to get out of the vamps sight, and what shes going to do once she does. In the distance, at least 6 trees ahead, she hears a small shuffle and a twig softly snapping on the ground. She knew without a doubt that someone was there. Weather it be friend or foe she was ready to fight to get away. As she steps passed the fifth tree, out steps Dean Winchester from behind the sixth, swinging his machete.

Rose spots him in the nick of time, and slides under his swing. The vamp, who was within inches of grabbing Rose however, did not. The blade slashes threw the vamps neck, head flying threw the air, landing a few feet away. The body runs a few more paces, passing Rose, then stumbles and drops to the ground. Dean turns to Rose, whose still on the ground, with a menacing, confused and slightly annoyed look on his face. Rose, in turn, returns the look. More annoyed at the fact that she had a weapon swung towards her throat. Dean looks her up and down, assessing the woman in front of him. She looks strong but also tiny and weak at the same time. Rose makes a slight noise, bringing Deans focus back to her face. Another noise behind her catches her attention. She looks over when Sam comes emerging out from behind another tree. She gives both men an unpleasant look and goes to get up.

Dean leans over and offers a hand to help her after he sees her slip on some lose soil. She stares at his hand for a moment, treating it as it's a snake, not sure if it'll bite or not. She reaches up and grabs his hand to be pulled up. The moment their hands connect a strong and strange energy flows threw them and the surrounding area. Filling ever little void in the woods. The energy doesn't last long but shocks everyone and takes a toll on them. Dean and Rose jerk their hands away, causing Rose to slide a little on the lose soil once again. Sam looks all over the place, confused as to where the energy had come from.

"Hey I'm Dean. Next time you should be more cautious when entering a run down barn in the middle of no where."

Rose looks on at him and grunts. "Rose, and I knew exactly what I was getting myself into when I walked in there. Don't think that you and your brother are the only hunters around here. There are plenty of us still out and about."

Dean and Sam look at one another. Confused as to who this woman is.

"Well since you're a hunter, that makes you even more of an idiot. Who are you? We've never meet but you seem to know who we are."
