(Opening scene)
After another full day of driving, the impala pulls into a motel parking lot. Dean, Sam, and Rose are breaking for the night. They are all drained from the drive and small hunt. They begin to climb out of the car and stretch and bend to loosen up their bodies after being in the car for so long with only stopping for a few minutes for grub and restroom breaks. It's close to midnight now and Rose is sure they drove threw the night and the whole next day due to Deans frustration towards her. He kept his foot on the gas peddle and had it pressed to the floor of the car the whole time as they entered and drove a little threw Missouri. Never stopping to have Sam switch spots and drive for a little while. Even when they did stop for food he still refused to let Sam take over and drive. He drove the whole way, with his hands squeezing the steering wheel, knuckles white, just staring out the window at the road. Knowing that if he stopped the car or loosened his hold on the wheel he would lose his cool on Rose again for undermining them and walking away at a point that could have gotten him and Sam killed. By the time hes all stretched out and moving he has calmed down enough to not explode at Rose by just looking at her.
Sam walks around towards the back of the car to start gathering their things out. Dean looks up towards the office and heads in that direction. "I'm gunna go get two rooms. Be right back."
Rose gives Sam a helping hand and brings the heavy duffle bags to the ground closes to the curb. She looks up once she hears Dean angrily muttering. He's still a good distance away, so he's speaking pretty loud. Rose glances at Sam with a little of a worried look, knowing that Dean, again, is not in a good mood and doesn't want another altercation to take place. As they stand near the car and watch as Dean gets closer, stomping and throwing his arms all over the place, both try to think of a way to quickly calm him down. As he gets closer they can finally make out what he is grumbling about. Some how, even though he was so loud about it, they couldn't hear until now, "Don't have two rooms available my ass. There's no one else here. Stupid dick's to lazy to do his job to check out two rooms but oh, there's a couch he says. Yeah thanks douch, cause everyone wants to sleep on a couch." he mumbles and complains all the way up to Rose and Sam. He stops once hes in front of them and gives them a very annoyed look. "Apparently they only have one room available, but lucky us, there's a couch." he says with a mock sound of cheerfulness. He bends down and grabs his bag off the ground and storms over to the room door and flings it open for the other two.
As Rose walks pass Dean into the room she looks at him, "It's alright Dean, I can sleep on the couch. It's no big deal." she begins to walk over to the couch to put her things down when Dean grabs her arm and stops her in her place.
"I don't think so. I don't care what you think of me but I am not about to have a woman sleep on a couch just so I can sleep in a bed. You will be sleeping in the bed. Do not argue with me and be happy." he says as he smirks and gently nudges her towards the bed. She goes to to turn and argue and make a comment about not needing his chivalry, but movement out of the corner of her eye distracts her.
She turns her head towards Sam. Seeing him standing in the doorway, grinning at the sight of them. "You two fight over everything. It is highly amusing and annoying." he says as he walks into the room and places his things down on the bed closes to the door. He turns back towards them, "But it is starting to get in the way of things."
Rose groans and heaves her bags up and walks around to the other bed. Setting them down, she glances around and takes in her surroundings. Taking in a deep breath she opens her bag and begins to empty it out onto the bed. She then decides that she needs a nice hot shower to relax. Gathering things off to the side on the bed for her shower, she turns to replace the rest of her things back into her bag. While she's repacking things into her bag, she glances up at Dean while he fixes up the couch for the night. A wave of unexpected emotions hit her. The way he moves gracefully while he makes up a bed for himself and tosses a pillow down. The way his muscles strain and bulge as he moves and straightens the blanket. The way his shirt clings to his back, showing off every muscle, and is now just ridding up enough she can see the barest amount of his stomach. How his messy hair is shinning from the damp sweat that was made while he threw a fit in the parking lot. She takes in the little of stubble that has grown in the last couple of days. Images and thoughts of how it would feel to run her finger tips over it. How rough it would feel rubbing against her cheek. She snaps out of it and comes to her senses when Sam clears his throat loudly. She looks over at him and finds him staring at her with a you've been busted look on his face. Shes been caught checking Dean out and suddenly feels the urge to be anywhere other than in the sight of Sam. She feels the blush start to form on her cheeks, quickly spreading threw the rest of her body. She snatches up her things and rushes off to the restroom to take a shower.
