Chapter Nine

Wavering Heart 9

Taehyung had invited Yoongi to his dorm so they could get along and bond together. But Yoongi had other plans.

"You fucking bastard!" Yoongi yelled, his voice enclosed with pure venom. "I beg your pardon?" Taehyung asked , looking completely clueless as he turned to look at Yoongi with a confused look.

"You prick, how could you flirt with Jimin in front of me, knowing damn well that I love him." Yoongi glared at the boy. He wanted to hurt him.

"What the fuck, Yoongi? He was just hanging out with me. And besides, he wasn't flirting with me.. He was comforting me." Taehyung didn't want to tell him why. But it was because today was the day the abuse came to an end and Jimin was looking out for him.

It happened nearly 3 years ago. His ex boyfriend, Yugeyeom had abused him for seven months until Namjoon and SeokJin barged into his room after hearing loud screaming. It still taunts him to this day.

"Why would he be comforting you?" And when the younger didn't respond, it angered him even more. "Fucking answer me!"

"Don't yell, hyungie.." He hated when people would yell at him. It made him feel worthless and weak.

"Are you joking? How can I not when some pathetic, useless low-life decides that it's fully okay to flirt with the love of my life when they're fully aware that I love them?!" Yoongi said, not really processing what he said since it all happened so quickly. It was all going too fast for him to stop yelling and apologise to the younger.

"You–..idiot! Are you trying to set me up or something? Because let's face it, he wouldn't even want to be with you in the first place."

"No..!" Taehyung managed to say in between broken sobs. Yoongi could feel his heart ache at the sight of the boy crying in front of him. And he let the boy drop to the floor as he continued to let out broken, loud and painful sobs. He didn't do anything to help the younger since he felt like his body was taken over by anger.

"You deserve it, you fucking piece of shit." And when Yoongi said that, he could hear Taehyung's sobs becoming louder as they echoed through the empty apartment.

"Get out,"

Yoongi looked at him with a blank expression. "What?"

Taehyung got up from the floor and pointed to the door, his hand heavily shaking as he spoke. "Get..out." But Yoongi didn't listen. "Get out!" Taehyung yelled at the older and Yoongi walked out without looking back at the younger. Once he left, he heard a loud thud followed by screams and sobs. Taehyung was having a breakdown.

And Yoongi caused it.
