Chaeyoung POV:
"Well, time to take a very cold swim."I stare at Jisoo, then back out of the door. Luckily, she managed to hack the helicopter to descend slowly. It may be a bit suspicious to Yang, but it's better than nothing.
"Can I kick it?" Lisa motioned to the door. We all look at eachother and nod. She kicks the door open.
Or so we thought.
The door remains shut and Lisa rubs her foot while blinking in surprise and panic.
"We need to open this now, the helicopter's going to submerge in water if we don't-" Jennie begins, but a loud alarm cuts her off. I flinch and try to bang the door open. I bend down and find a small lock on the door, I just have to undo this in time.
Fumbling, I take the lock in my hands and twist it open, untangling it, before chucking it behind us.
"We're not dying today!" Jisoo announces, and pushes open the door. A strong gust of wind blows onto our faces as we look beneath us. There is still a bit of distance left between us and the water. Oh well, I guess this is it..
"OKAY, JUMP IN THREE, TWO..." Jennie shrieks just to be heard. "ONE!"
We jump.

I feel myself falling
Before I hear a splash.
It takes me a few seconds to register that I've hit the water. All I can see is darkness. My legs immediately turn numb, and I can't tell if it's from the fall or the temperature of the water, which is ice cold by the way. I give up the idea of holding hands and instead fight my way to the surface. My legs are barely useful, and my arms are beginning to get tired. Am I going to die? I can't die.
I force myself to paddle faster, and suddenly feel a cool breeze against me. I open my eyes and suck in air desperately.
Once I look around, I see my friends still underwater, Jisoo being the farthest down. I hold my breath and swim down to her, keeping my eyes open(something that I'm able to do). I push her upwards and when I reached the surface again, everyone was there.
"If we somehow make it to some island, I think I'll die of hypothermia," Lisa was the first to break the silence.
"That's good for you, let's find an island," Jennie replies sarcastically.
I swim over to her and we all decide to swim in a random direction. Nothing can go wrong.
Jennie POV:
I swear it's been an hour.
Of course, I'm exaggerating. We've been swimming for probably about less than five minutes, but I feel like I'm going to die, big surprise. Not the first time. My rib is throbbing from a rough landing, my legs are tired, my arms feel like jello... but I'm still alive and that's all that matters.
"Island! Cliff!" I hear Chaeyoung pant, the water muffling her voice.
"We're almost there!" I say in excitement, speeding up.
I feel something scrape my knee, wincing, and I notice rocks underneath me. It's tall enough for me to stand up. I notice we are right under a cliff, so close to being able to get up on land.
"I think we miraculously went in the right direction to a city..." Jisoo gasps as she looks around. "How do we get up?"
"I don't know," Lisa mumbles, walking around the cliff. "I'm just surprised that no sharks or jellyfish have attacked us- JELLYFISH!"
"Why did you have to jinx us!" Chaeyoung screams.
I look their way and see a floating, clear, figure, drifting their way.
"Don't just stand there, SWIM!" I shout.
We all swim in the opposite direction, and I notice the jellyfish... is dead.
"We can slow down, it's dead." I announce and then notice a small patch of the cliff that slopes upwards. "I think we can climb up from here."
I try it first, grabbing onto the ledge and trying to pull myself up. The platform that we are standing on disappears close to the ledge, leaving river-deep water instead. I jump towards it.
Athletics are really helping me here.
Somehow, I manage to get my stomach above the ledge, but the rock is piercing my hip, so I let go, careful not to hurt myself anymore.
"It hurts," I nod in disdain. "Who's trying next?"
"I'll try!" Lisa exclaims enthusiastically, and I envy her. How can she be excited and happy during this time? My eyes flicker to Chaeyoung, however, who has a small smile on her face, looking at me.
"I DID IT!" Lisa's yell breaks our eye contact. "I'll pull each of you up."
Jisoo goes next, jumping and grabbing onto Lisa like her life depends on it, it kind of does.
I gesture for Chaeyoung to go next, the pain in my stomach still not going away.
Chaeyoung's successful.
"Just you left!"
I quickly jump towards the cliff, grabbing the ledge, before letting Lisa take my hand. I don't know what happened, but the next thing I know, we both end up back in the water.
"Ah! Are you okay?" I sputter, spitting out water that I almost swallowed. I realize that I'm bear hugging her and quickly let go.
"I'm fine," Lisa giggles. "How did we both fall?"
Third try's the charm, because I finally make it up again, with Lisa this time.
"Seems like we're still in Seoul," Chaeyoung says thoughtfully. "On we go!"
A/N:
Hopefully this makes up for the previous chapter, though it's still on the shorter side.
Anyways, have a nice day :D
