Carelessness

Jennie POV:

I scan around the wall, holding up a flashlight, before seeing something.

"Guys! Is that an entrance?" I exclaim quietly, not wanting to alarm anyone.

They all rush towards me and Jisoo peers inside.

"I think that is a lab of some sort?" She responds in the same quiet tone. "We could probably throw it in there, it's big enough."
In the midst of a long gray wall, there was a sizable hole with a bright light seeping through. I quickly turn off my flashlight and take off the backpack from my back, helping Rosie do the same.

"Whipped! You should help me!" Lisa whines, pouting.

"Yah, Jisoo, go help your girl," Rosie rolls her eyes and begins opening her backpack right next to me.

Our hair brushes each other and my heart beats faster at the close proximity.

"I can hear that," Chaeyoung whispers into my ear, before standing up and announcing, "Let's all throw it in at the same time. Ready?"

I just stand there stunned as Lisa and Jisoo nod.

"That would be something I would say... is she taunting me?"

"-Jennie, are you still on planet Earth?" Jisoo waves her hand in front of my face.
"Yeah I am. What makes you think I'm not?" I scoff, glancing at Chaeyoung, who still has a smug smirk on her face.

"Oh, nothing," Lisa rolls her eyes, swatting at the air. "So, do you agree or not?"

I look at her, trying to hide my panic.

"Are we still talking about throwing stuff into the mafia or something else? Wait I can't get exposed by Lisa out of all people, what do I say...?"

"Uh, yeah sure," I decide to blurt out, before looking at the pitch black ground.

"Okay, great then," Chaeyoung smiles and walks up to me. "Never knew that I could get the Jennie Kim to blush because of me," She says quietly.

"Hey-what?" I reply, a bit louder, causing Lisoo to look at us. "I did not, you know it's always the opposite, Rosie."

Right as I say that, I can see her cheeks become pink.

Easy

"Exactly what I thought."

She playfully and softly punches my arm, before we both turn to Lisoo.

"So, should we throw our things in yet?" I say, tapping my foot on the floor.

Jisoo POV:

"Sure, come on then," I take Lisa's hand and bring her towards the large gap in the wall, before picking up my backpack, about to throw it in.

"Wait!" Chaeyoung yells, and we all freeze. "Do you have any food?"

"Yah... did you just stop me for food?" I stare at her.
"You know Chipmunk, she always wants her food," Lisa shakes her head and Jennie laughs.

"Well, do you?"

I quickly open my bag and look inside, finding some chips and rice.

"Yeah, I do..."

"Then we should keep it. If we stay here for a few more days, we'll be starving," Chaeyoung reasoned.
"I agree," I quickly threw the bags of food at Chaeyoung, who caught them. "Nice reflexes."

"Thank you."

"Anyways, let's throw our stuff in," I see Jennie glare at me and can't help but smirk.

Teasing her is always fun.

"Three, two, one!"

This time, no one interprets us (*ahem ahem* Chaeyoung), and I hear a loud thud, before hearing a few voices. Our eyes open in sudden realization of our carelessness.

"Who did that?" A voice boomed from inside, and I grimince, getting ready to run, motioning for the other members to follow me. As soon as I hear other footsteps, I begin taking off, making sure everybody follows me. "All of you, stop! We will shoot."

I hesitate, and they all look at me.

Now's the time I wish I wasn't the oldest here.

But it must have taken too long.

Before I knew it.

Two of us are on the ground.
