Chapter 1

"MOM!!" I called.
"Yes amethyst!?" She called back.
"Where is the files for the rogue case for America?"
"Mija" she whined. "Why aren't you with your friends? Like a normal teenage girl?"
"Mom you know I'm the youngest and most powerful alpha in the world. I have too many responsibilities to handle." I reply annoyed because I told her since dad died, In a rouge attack when I turned 16, I had to take responsibility of an alpha. It's my job to handle and I'll do it before I can ever think about "hanging out" with anyone. I never even had my first kiss. I'm saving myself for my mate. We will take care of my pack, The Dark Shadow pack, together. Just like my dad wanted.
"I'm sorry honey just you are always working you never have fun once in awhile. You know what? I'll handle the case in America you go to the club tonight I'll even give you money to pay for drinks. Tell Sina and Charline to go with you." My mom said to me.

"Mom it's ok I'll do the case-"
"No amethyst! You are going and that final!" She commanded.
"I-I fine whatever.. I'll go I'll go. "
"Yay now go to the mall and pick up your dress. I'll do your makeup and hair."
"Mom! Ugh fine" I give up.
"Yea now go get your dress"

I tried on the blood red bodycon dress that my mom got me. My mocha skin contrasted with my lighter hair with was a really light brown (almost blond) and naturally yellow eyes. It means I am fully Lycan not just a werewolf but the strongest and purest breed.
My mom curled my waist length light brown hair into tight ringlets. Then to my eyes she put a red smokey eye look and some eyeliner. I didn't really need foundation because my face was almost completely flawless except for my freckles that spread across the apples of my cheeks and my nose but I love them. My mom also got me sleek black 4 inch heels.
"Wow mom! I look great thanks." I said genuinely I haven't seen my friends because of alpha duties and I really did miss them.
"You're welcome my beautiful daughter. I love you don't get into trouble."
"Me? Get into trouble? Do you know me mom?" I laughed the she joined in with me.
Then the doorbell rang.
"I got it." I told her then grabbed my heels.
"Sina! Charline! ¿Como estás?"
"Bueno, ¿¡por qué no se puso en contacto conmigo!?" Sina is the party girl gone wild she's the type of friend that will get you to do anything and everything. She has cream colored skin and green eyes. also had raven black hair and a full body type. DD-cup size and a round ass. If I was lesbian I would tap that. Just saying.
"lo siento deberes alfa"
"Hey am I just invisible her?" My oldest friend charline acknowledge.
"Hey did you hear that?" Sina joked.
"Yea I think we're being haunted." I laughed.
"Ah c'mon guys!" Charline whined, "don't do this too me"
"im kidding girl! How have you been!" I laughed as I gave her a huge hug. I missed her so much we've known each other since birth. We were inseparable. Now that my dad died, I haven't had time to completely spend time with her. I missed that.
Charline has beautiful caramel skin with hazel and grey eyes. There unique because her dad is a Lycan and was the beta to my dad, now I know what your thinking. Why isn't charline my beta? Well because she has an older brother, his name is Calor. It means hot. way to boost his ego. Notice the sarcasm. He is hot though. Tan cream colored skin, dark jet black purposely messy hair, a 6ft 5" tall frame. Nice amount of muscles and the best feature is his green and yellow eyes his eyes are that color because he always has his wolf partially in control. I mean always. The flaw of his god like physic is he's a man-whore. Fucked pretty much anything with a nice pair of boobs and ass..oh and a vagina. However he's an amazing beta. (Except the part that he flirts with me a lot. But he know he won't get none)
"Ready to go?"

We headed to Club Luna Nueva The hottest club in all of Costa Rica. We headed in and it was full to the brim well the top part is at least. There's a V.I.P. Room under the main part. It was deep blue setting and blasting with music and people dancing and grinding on each other. Then there was the smell of sweat and arousal. yep there is no way you couldn't tell this was a club.
"Hey let's go or the bar!" Sina suggested.
"Sure I need to dim down a little" I said
"Sure" Charline said.
The bartender was a tall mocha skin rich brown eyes. Nice amount of muscles. Dark hair. Had the sleeves of his dark blue shirt pulled up to his elbows. His muscles bulging out while he washed shot glasses and martini glasses.
"12 shots of tequila" I ordered
"Someone's trying to clear her head huh?"
"Yea something like that." I laughed.
"Name is Jackson."
"Amethyst"
"So is that your natural eye color?"
"Yes it is"
"How did that happen?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"I actually don't know." I answer.
"Hmm" he said while he finished the twelve shots "here you go beautiful, and they're beautiful I bet you get that question a lot."
"Yea I do" I smiled "but it's whatever, I'm used to it by now. I just don't like when people keep on the subject."
"the drinks ready?" Sina asked while sauntering her hips to the music.
"Yep ready?" I challenged. We are about to see who can take six shots before the other.
"Yep lets go. hey can you judge?" She asked Jackson.
"Yea sure."
"Alright 3 2 1 Go!" Yelled the started to take down the shots. Super fast they burned while they ran down my throat. it was a good burn like when you have been inside all day and it's all sunny outside and you walk outside and you're just like ahhh, yea like that.
"Finished! I screamed swallowing the last shot.
"Dammit! Every time!" Sina whined.
"Yep! You know it! Go ahead say it!" I exclaimed victoriously.
"Your the most awesome woman in the world. you are the reason I live and breathe. You are the sun that makes the world beautiful." She said in a bored tone.
"Thank you ma'am!" I happily said.
"Ok that was the most entertaining thing I've ever seen." Jackson said.
"Yea we do this every time we go out." she answered.
"Yea and we don't go out very often." said Charline. "thanks to miss 'the reason we live and breathe'" she deadpanned.
Well sorry I had to take the alpha duties before I really wanted to.
"Well then, you think you can beat me Jackson?" I questioned.
"Oh hell yea! Let's go"
He set up another 12 shots and placed it infront of us.
I counted off "ready 3 2 1 go!" I screamed taking down shot by shot in record time.
"Fine" (not fine. It's finished in Spanish it's not a typo) I said. I know I don't get our a lot but I sure do know how to drink.
"Dammit you're good!" He yelled while taking down his last shot.
"Hell yea i know how to take down my liquor!" I scream starting to feel the effects of the alcohol. "Let's dance girls I said as I pull them to the dance floor.
Brad's POV
"Yo I heard that Club Luna Nueva is the hottest club in Costa Rica." My bestfriend Julio said. "and I know how to get in the vip section."
"How? I heard that place is really restricted and you can only get in if you are someone of high power."
"Very true but I know the bouncer" he said.
"Alright let's go" why not?
"yess" he cheered putting his hands together.
I had on a dark red t-shirt pulled up to my elbows and dark wash jeans. I let my hair in a jet black mess on the top of my head, leaving a curl to go infront of my piercing green eyes with little blue specs. Sorry my eyes are my money maker.
"Ready amigo?"
"Ready"
Amethyst's POV
"Wooohhh yeah!!" We yelled while swaying are hips to the music.
"Having fun?" Charline said.
"Hell yea!" I cheered back the alcohol taking its effect.
The there was the smell. Over everything, was the smell of cherry and pine. My nose followed the smell.
'Mate! Mate!' My wolf yelped.
"Mate?"
I turned around to find.. the hottest man I've ever seen.. but he's human.
MY MATE IS HUMAN?!
