Sleepover (Part 2)

Emu sat down at the dinner table while Mafuyu went to go make something. They rummaged through the fridge and found some leftovers from dinner. She heated them up and plated them.

Emu carefully examined her dish, looking at each individual piece of food. They took a bite and carefully thought about the taste. She slowly mixed certain parts of the food together and took more bites until they found the perfect food combination. By the time Emu started officially eating, Mafuyu was already done.

"Ah...Emu? Are you alright?"

"YEP!!"

Mafuyu was a bit concerned on what Emu was doing, but she looked cute doing it nonetheless.

After Emu finished her food the 2 girls went over to the couch and started picking out a movie to watch. Emu kept insisting on the minions movie or despicable me, but Mafuyu was not giving in.

"Emu..those movies are for kids.."

"HOW DARE YOU!! They are fine pieces of art and should be treated as such!"

"Fine.."

Mafuyu put on the newest minions movie.

Emu leaned onto Mafuyu's shoulder, carefully watching the movie. It seemed as if Emu wasn't blinking at all. Mafuyu had a hard time understanding anything that was happening at first, but as time went on they started getting invested into the movie too. By the end, both girls were crying, both sad and happy tears.

"Emu, thank you for showing that movie to me. I truly underestimated it."

"WONDERHOY!!"

Emu gave Mafuyu another big hug.

Mafuyu had something on her mind, something she really wanted to do. They didn't want to just go for it without Emu's permission, but they also felt awkward asking.

"Hey..Emu.."

"Mhm?!"

"Can um...I kiss you?"

Emu felt her face heat up, they got very nervous.

"I'm not sure Mafuyu-chan...I don't know if I'm really ready for that!! I'm sorry!!"

"No need to apologize. I would rather you be comfortable than force something onto you."

"Thank you for understanding!! Maybe not a kiss on the lips..but I am fine with one on the cheek!"

Mafuyu leaned in a gave Emu a soft peck on her cheek. Mafuyu held Emu's face in their hand and caressed her soft cheeks. Emu leaned into the touch, but moments later sprung into hug Mafuyu again.

The 2 girls began to get sleepy so they went back upstairs and put on pajamas. Emu's pjs were a unicorn cat t-shirt with rainbow pajama shorts. Mafuyu just wore black sweatpants and a white t-shirt. The 2 got in bed and closely cuddles each other until falling asleep.

"Goodnight Emu, sweet dreams."

Mafuyu gave one last goodnight kiss on Emu's cheek, before drifting off to sleep into the dream world.
