"Everyone, please welcome our new student." my adviser introduced. A tall girl appeared at the door. She's really pretty even though I can't see her that much. Our adviser gestured her to come inside. She responded as she walks towards in front of the classroom with her eyes at the floor.
"introduce yourself now, dear."
"Hi you can call me Ida and I hope we can all be friends this school year." she smiled shyly.
"Welcome, Ida. You may sit down beside Ms. Ledezma."
I put my hand up since she was confused who that 'Ms. Ledezma' that our adviser was telling her.

"That's where our friendship started. Do you remember our high school days? We always go shopping. I promise you, we'll go shopping again." I reminded Ida once again as she's sleeping on a hospital bed.
