Ah yes, the Breaker Box

I have finally finished rewiring a faulty breaker box. It was strange, as usually breaker boxes break the least, but they do break occasionally I suppose. As my servo slits back into its place, Salvo, my student, approaches. He scans my work, and takes quick note of it in his pad.
"Have we done everything in this sector?"

"According to the datapad, yes, we have. Everything is crossed out."
Salvo turns the datapad to face me. All work was crossed out, as he said.

I nod in approval.

"Let us now test that everything is working. We would not want to give an accidental surprise to anyone using any of the stuff we fixed now, do we?"

Salvo gave a smile in slight amusement.

"Yes, Spark-Plug."

"Do you remember where we should start testing?"

"Yes, we start fro-"

An explosion in the distance shook the ground, causing Salvo and I to fall over onto the ground. I immediately get up, probably a bad decision of mine, as I look at the direction the explosion originated from.

It was from a tall tower, a tower in which self-defense quarters reside in Cybertron. How the bots who presumably sneaked a bomb in there, I have no idea- and cared not as the building was at the verge of collapse.

"Salvo, get up and run!" I shout, as I half-drag him up before transforming into a motorcycle and speeding away. I see him shortly in his altmode following me, and we speed away.

The tower falls, creating destruction and chaos on the road. The ground shaking was too much to my altmode, as I only had two wheels. I transform back to my original form- I hover for a minute or two before landing roughly on the ground. I did not expect Salvo to be the one to stop my rolling- but he managed to do it, catching me by the side of his vehicle form.

"Thanks..." I say, unsure as I stand up, shaken from what destruction the tower has done.

Salvo transforms to his default form, and his voice is definitely representing his fear for what has happened.

"Spark-Plug... what do we do now?"

"We head back to our workplace. We have no power to fix this ourselves..."

"We wasted so much time fixing something that would be broken shortly after anyways."

I chuckle. He was right after-all- the tower crushed not only the breaker box I was working on moments ago, it also crushed basically the whole sector we were in.

We still stand there, watching the building, as if we were expecting it to rise up and be an illusion of the destruction, to pretend it has never happened. But it stayed there.

I sigh, turning towards my student.

"I suppose we are to go the long way this time. We should also watch the news- it is very, very unusual for something like this to happen."

Salvo nods.

"Hey Spark-Plug?"

"Yes?"

"I still think it's better if you used a vehicle form of which gives you four wheels, giving you better balance. The experience just now justifies it."

I laugh, teasing Salvo. He has been determined from day one to convince me to use a four-wheeled form instead of a two-wheeled form. He has good reasons- however I enjoy how little space the two-wheeled forms take.

We head down the road, taking right turns until we are back on track to our workspace headquarters. It was a long drive, especially with the added traffic- I could skip all the traffic due to my size being quite small, but I shouldn't abandon Salvo. So we waited. Salvo couldn't stop moving his tires the entire time we were waiting to continue forward- I could tell he was extremely bored.
