Guys sorry for the lack of updates

I was just out of state for a concert for my favorite rock band. Let's just say I met 2 of the 4 members from it! I am so happy right now, they were so sweet and complimented my outfit (they Said they saw it from the stage). Still can't fathom that I even got pictures with them, osdfkjadsfkjgadsgk d. My dreamssssssss

My fingers trace the millions of flowers that littered each table. Many people were trying to sell their flowers to me for some cash—too many choices, so little time. Taking one more glance around the market I decided on just some simple daisies. Maybe I should just start somewhere small before I decide to pick a fight that I can't win. For a fact, I know that I won't put up with crazy ferns or anything.

"Hi," you greet the vendor. "A few daisy plants, please. Maybe 6? If that is okay."

"Coming right up sweetie," the vendor smiles, her long grey hair blowing in the breeze. As she was wrapping them up she added, "You're the new girl that moved into town. Right? Sorry, it is just that I can't recognize your adorable little face."

"Uh, yeah. That's me. Me, my best friend, and my dog."

"These plants are on me, call it a welcome to town. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday coming up."

She hands me the package of flowers with a smile. I gladly took it before shyly turning around and heading back home.  Sidney was out on the front lawn suntanning, Chewie curled up in a ball on the porch. He shoots to hit his feet once he sees I was home. Gladly I place my hand on his little head.

"How was the market? I see that you got some flowers," Sidney says sitting up.

"It was nice," I shrug. "What holiday is coming up, with this whole move to a new state everything has flooded out of my brain."

"Um, I am not sure. It seems like I don't recall the holiday either."

"Hmmm, oh well."

Quickly getting to work, I get my hands surrounded by dirt. My first priority was to get the plants in the ground, just so they don't die. Hopefully, I have my green thumb, these poor babies deserve to live inside the ground of a beautiful home. After long hours of working outside, both Sidney and Chewie left me. Once in a great while a neighbor would stop and chat about the day.

As the sun was about to set I finally got the last plant in. Walking inside I see Sidney standing over the stove, stirring something in a pot. I nudge her with my elbow before washing my hands.

"Dinner is almost done (Y/n)," Sidney says as she grabs a few plates for us. "How did planting go?"

"Perfect, once they are grown our home with be complete," I say as I sit down at the table. Chewie finds a spot under my feet as Sidney places a plate of spaghetti on the table in front of me. Reaching for my fork I instantly dig in, the hunger from working outside finally reaching me.

Sidney finds a seat next to me, digging into her plate. The sounds of us eating overtook every other sound in the room. It was perfect, just two best friends filling their bellies with delicious food. Their trusty companion under their feet sleeping away the daylight.

"I got it!" Sidney shouts, scaring me. A noodle falls to the floor in the scare, making Chewie jump up from his slumber. The sound of him slurping up the noodle could be heard as Sidney laughs. "Sorry!"

I return the laughter, "What?"

"Halloween is coming up, I saw it all over the newspaper."

"Oh yeah, how could we forget? Wait..."

"Yeah. It's been a year already. Seems like it just happened a few days ago."

"What are we going to do?"

"No parties this year, lets's rent scary movies and order the greasiest pizza we can find."

"Sounds perfect to me."

Sidney grabs my empty plate, putting it in the sink as she gets ready to wash the mess she made from dinner. Getting up I head upstairs for a shower, wanting to get the sweat off of me pronto. Stepping in the warm water I let out a long sigh, watching really dirty water fall beneath my feet. It took me a lot of willpower to step out of the water, something about a shower just makes me want to curl up and nap. A perfect way to wrap up the night.

Wrapping a towel around my body I walk across the hall to my bedroom, rummaging under stacks of junk for my brush. Finding it under a shirt I laugh, taking a seat in front of my vanity to brush out the knots that formed from the day. Something about hair and the wind outside just don't mix, and it sucks when you just want to go to bed.

As I was combing my hair I heard a creak behind me, turning around my eyes fall to the empty hall outside my bedroom door. Shrugging I return to combing my hair, turning to the mirror to part my hair. Only when I looked back in the mirror I see a shadow of a man in the hallway. He stood tall, but I couldn't make out any features. Turning back to the hall, there was nobody there.

"Sidney!" I shout, standing up.

"yeah!" She yells back, quickly running to where I was. "What's wrong?"

"There was somebody here, in the hall."

"Uh, okay. Uh, let me look around."

"No, please."

"(Y/n) it's fine. Billy doesn't know we are here, we are safe. I'm just going to take a look around the house, okay?"
