CALEB

Chillin on the top of the stairs before the party starts and in walks Ethan through the front door. He looks up at me with a distressed look on his face.

"What up Cuz?" I asked as he climbed the stairs

"Nothing, just getting back from the parlor" he shrugged

I squinted my eyes at him "What did you have to go there for?"

"I had to tutor someone and didn't want to use the library" he was so nonchalant with the answer

"Who was she?" I questioned further

"Why would you think it was a female" Scrunching his face up in denial

"Seriously? I know you Ethan. You are not some sweet innocent guy" I said glaring at him

One thing about Ethan is he can have a girl fall head over heels for him before he tells them he just wants to be friends. He's the worst kind of lead-on ever. I saw the crooked smile forming on his face which meant trouble

"Well if you must know Cuz, it was Abigail" he smiled even harder at the look on my face

"What would Abigail be failing in that you would have to tutor her in?" I was kinda pissed off; one because she now knows that Ethan and I are related and two because he knows what Abigail is to me

Honestly I don't know what she is to me anyways. I mean she's a friend, but she's still my charm piece, but I also don't want to do anything with her in that way without her thinking it's for this dumb game, but I can't say that I like her like that can I?

"Math" Ethan said breaking me out of my trance

"What?"

"I'm tutoring her in math, she has some soft hands too" he smirked

I stood up so fast I almost lost my balance, we were standing eye to eye on the staircase. I glared at him to the point I could reach out and strangle him

"Stay away from her" I warned growling at him

"Ooo temper Cuz" he smirked again stepping closer to me "I think she just might become my charm piece"

Before I could reach out and grab him by the collar of his shirt he walked away from me laughing. I was fuming; I have to warn Abigail. I reached in my pocket for my phone, but remembered I was charging it. I walked downstairs to my room then went over to the dresser grabbing my phone. I walked back out when a huge group of people swarmed into the house.

I looked at my phone and it was already 9 o'clock, how long were we talking for. I shook my head while trying to maneuver through the crowd; people dabbing me up, striking conversations and girls flirting to the point I totally forgot what I was supposed to be doing. As the crowd got bigger and bigger to the point it spilled into the hallway to the front yard. It was now in full swing and I needed to get a drink, so I moved in and out of people around me to the kitchen when I saw Cece dancing on the dance floor. I walked over to her tapping her on the shoulder

"Hey Caleb" She said when she turned around "What's up?"

"Did you come here by yourself" I semi yelled

She shook her head "No, I came with Abby" I looked around but didn't see her "You're clearly looking for her but she's in the backyard"

"What's she doing out there?" I questioned

She shrugged "I have no idea, she saw something or someone out there and said she'd be back"

I looked at her thinking who, but only one name came to mind; Ethan. I thanked her then made my way to the kitchen to get a drink because I was fuming and honestly I don't know what for but just imagining his smug face smiling at anything Abby was saying pissed me off even more. I grabbed the first bottle I found and a fresh cup then poured myself some vodka. Taking shot after shot, I think I was four in and could feel the buzz in the back of my head. I looked out the back window of the kitchen and saw them sitting at the lounge chairs on the other side of the pool.
