An Unexpected Meeting

     After they got the boy inside the building, Mikasa took him straight to the infirmary to recover. Once she did, she took a closer look at the boy in front of her on the bed.

Mikasa: "(He's got such a large scar on his face. How did he get it?)"

     Mikasa then touched his face gently, and caressed him.

Mikasa: "(His skin; It's so soft and smooth.)"

     She soon realizes what she's doing, stopped for a moment, and turned red.

Mikasa: "(Wait, what the hell am I doing?)"

     Soon enough, she noticed that the bot was waking up, and slowly started to look at her.

Mikasa: "Hey, are you alright?"

Shoto: "Yeah, I think so. Wait, where am I?"

Mikasa: "The Infirmary. I brought you here after I saw you outside unconscious."

Shoto: "Oh; So, who are you?"

Mikasa: "I'm Mikasa Ackerman; A member of the Scouts. Also known as 'The Survey Corps'."

Shoto: "The scouts? Like the heroic soldiers of Humanity?"

Mikasa: "That's us."

Shoto: "Whoa."

Mikasa: "By the way, what's your name?"

Shoto: "Shoto Todoroki."

Mikasa: "Good to meet you too."

Shoto: "So, did something happen while I was out cold?"

Mikasa: "Kinda; There's a lot of Titans roaming around Stohess District, and we're losing 10% of our people."

Shoto: "Oh my God!"

Mikasa: "Yeah, it's a real shitty mess we're all in right now."

Shoto: "Are your parents here with you?"

     Mikasa then stood frozen after hearing that, and looked down at the floor with a sad expression.

Mikasa: "No,....They died from a few kidnappers who tried to sell me and my Mother off."

Shoto: "Oh my God; I'm really sorry about that."

Mikasa: "I wasn't alone though; I had my stepbrother, Eren Yeager, and my friend, Armin Arlert. The 3 of us grew up together like we were practically siblings."

Shoto: "Really?"

Mikasa: "If I didn't have them by my side, I would be all alone."

Shoto: "I see."

Mikasa: "What about you? Did you have any friends through your childhood?"

Shoto: "Well, no. But, I did get to know a few good friends back at my school."

Mikasa: "Really? Who?"

Shoto: "Tenya Iida, Tsuyu Asui Fumikage Tokoyami, Ochaco Uraraka, Denki Kaminari, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Momo Yaoyorozu, Hitoshi Shinso, even Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midorya."

     Mikasa then felt shook after she heard the last 2 names.

Mikasa: "Wait, you know Katsuki and Izuku?"

Shoto: "Well, yeah. Why? Do you know them too?"

Mikasa: "Yeah, Izuku is 1 of my childhood friends, and Katsuki was actually my enemy."

Shoto: "What?"

Mikasa: "Especially towards Eren; Katsuki betrayed him after he got his quirk and left him 10 years ago."

Shoto: "Oh my God."

Mikasa: "This might sound a bit towards you as embarrassing, but we call Izuku 'Zuki'."

     Shoto then looked dumbfounded, and blinked twice before he could ask.

Shoto: "Zuki?"

Mikasa: "It's a nickname Eren gave him when we were little; Honestly, it sounds better than 'Deku'."

Shoto: "Oh, that's actually really sweet."

Mikasa: "Thanks."

Shoto: "So, what about Bakugo? How do you know about him?"

Mikasa: "Well, Zuki was also abused and betrayed by him. Even though he still went after him all those years ago."

Shoto: "What?"

Mikasa: "That's not even the worst part, Shoto. While we were video chatting with him on the phone, we saw and heard Katsuki say that Zuki should 'Jump off the roof of the middle school building' just so he could actually get a quirk in his new life. When Eren heard and saw that whole situation, he began hating Katsuki to the core, and Zuki was heartbroken."

Shoto: "Oh my God! Why the hell didn't Midorya tell me anything about it?"

Mikasa: "Maybe because he was afraid about what would happen if people found out about how badly Katsuki abused him. Throughout our childhood, people made fun of all 4 of us for not having any quirks."

Shoto: "Holy Crap! That's crazy!"

Mikasa: "We all hated Katsuki after that day. 10 years of Hell he put all 4 of us through."

Shoto: "My God, I had no idea."

Mikasa: "It's fine; Zuki was a bit worried about what would happen if they knew the truth about Katsuki. So, he kept quiet about it just so no one else could get hurt by him."

Shoto: "I see."

     Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, and opening it was her 2 friends, Eren and Armin.

Eren: "Mikasa, is everything alright?"

Armin: "Hey, it looks like he's awake."

Mikasa: "Guys, you're not gonna believe this; He just told me that he knows about Zuki and Katsuki."

Eren: "Really!?"

Armin: "That's awesome! I'm Armin Arlert, and this is Eren Yeager; Who might you be?"

Shoto: "Shoto Todoroki."

Eren: "Good to meet you, Shoto."

Armin: "So, how did you end up here in Eldia?"

Shoto: "That's the thing; I don't really remember everything that happened to me."

Mikasa: "He I took some time getting to know him a bit more before you guys came in. Apparently, he was dragged into here by a purple vortex that came out of thin air."

Armin: "Seriously?"

Eren: "That's crazy!"

Shoto: "Honestly, I found it to be very suspicious when it happened. I was in the middle of rescue training with my classmates to become pro-heroes, until we were interrupted by a purple vortex that scared us and only took me."

Mikasa: "That does sound a bit off."

Eren: "Let's take Shoto to Captain Levi; I'll bet he can probably help us out on how to get Shoto back home."

Armin: "Good idea; Can you still move okay, Shoto?"

Shoto: "Yeah, I think so."

     Shoto then started to try and stand, but was still shaken after earlier and was about to collapse until Mikasa caught him. He then looked at her with surprise, and thanked her.

Shoto: "Um.....Thanks."

Mikasa: "Anytime; Here, I got you."

     After they helped him up on his feet, Shoto eventually got up from the bed very carefully, and went with them to go see Levi.
